Right now Steve Nash deserve to win MVP this season. Whether he has won the past two or not, and whether one of those was deserved, Steve Nash is the most valuable player in the league at this point in time.

Its nice to see Boozer get some recognition, even though he doesn't stand a chance of winning. I dont think Nash gets it, MVP in recent times has been suspect, in that it goes to good players but possibly not the player who diserved it for that year. take for instance 97, Malone got MVP but Jordan should have been MVP. in 98 Jordan got it when Malone should have Been MVP, in 99 Malone got it when Duncan should have been MVP.

At this very point, yes, Steve Nash is very valuable to the Suns and can make a large contribution to any team he plays for. I can actually see Nash win 3 straight MVP titles. Will he win 3 straight? I'm not sure. I think some of the voters will actually aim to vote for someone else just to add some flavor into the balloting or whatnot on voting day, you know? "Screw Nash Over" or something down those lines will be the motto.

If he stays on the NBA.com list and the Jazz keep playing well I think more and more people will notice how great he has been. How many nationally televised games for the Jazz this year? Hopefully some....Nash deserves another MVP this year, I don't think he's ever not been deserving except there's been others who deserved it too. I think there's a little jealousy around here. I don't mind if he doesn't get it this year though. Might be more motivation to take the team to the next level.

I think Steve Nash will win three straight MVP's. Nash puts all the pieces in the Suns squad together to make them the elite contendors they are today. He means the most to his team, which is what this award is all about. I'm so happy, Arenas is 2!

The Jazz have 2 more I believe, but its likely TNT and ESPN will pick up some more games if the Jazz continue doing well.

A couple 22-12-2 games on national TV with Jazz wins and he'll finish in the top 3 at least. :dribble: I hope he wins, like I hoped Elton Brand would win last year.

By the end of the first half, I can see Carlos being dropped to number 5 and Kobe moving up to #2 with Arenas trailing at 3. LeBron might be added into the 4th spot or someone else deserving of the name drop. Nash may remain at number 1 for a while to come now.

This is the only other PG in history to be named MVP abesides Magic and Cousy. To be even mentioned as among those players shows his eliteness already. To add to that, him and Magic are the only PG's to win back-to-back MVP's multiple times. He is among these elite players who won back-to-back MVP's: Magic Johnson, Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Moses Malone, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan and Tim Duncan. Not to mention leading the Suns quite deep in the playoffs. As welll as averaging over 10 assists! To be mentioned in that category of people, is just showing how elite this guy is. He seriously will go down as one of the PG's EVER.

^^ I just don't see a puny white boy on their level. All of them had made NBA Finals apearrances but Nash hasn't. If Nash is the REAL MVP then he is good enoguh to lead his team to the finals.

I really don't care how the MVP Race is going.Yes, I want LeBron James to win it, but I really care much more about how the team is doing.IMO, at the end of the season it's going to come down to LeBron and Kobe. Its so young in the season to talk about "MVP Race", but IMO, LBJ gets going and wins it....JMO.

Who knows what will happen by the end of the season? Perhaps a LeBron or Kobe will rush in and take the award. However, as of RIGHT now, it's either Steve Nash or Gilbert Arenas. And no matter who might step in and become the frontrunner, injuries aside, I think both Nash and Gil will be close in the race all season long.Gilbert Arenas has been the hottest player in the league. He's caught fire ... There's no other way to explain it. In my opinion, he's emerged and now deserves to be among the Kobe Bryant's, Dwyane Wade's, LeBron James' of the leagu. Steve Nash, on the other hand, is having a tremendous season, probably even better than his last 2 MVP years.I think between Nash and Gil, right now you have to give it to Steve based on what Phoenix is doing.
