This was agreat game the bulls played with out captain kirk.Bulls defended very well. at one point did have a 16 point lead. Gordon who took over the game ended up with 41 points. Getting to the line and hitting two ft's with 5 sec left. Then barbosa hits a 3 with 1.5 secBulls lose by one point in a well fought game .
A disheartening loss for sure. The Bulls deserved to win this game and I still can't believe Phoenix won the game shooting so poorly. Skiles once again gets outcoached by Dantoni. Gordon was Gordon and Amare had an incredible game. The Bulls had 20 turnovers which created 10 more shots for Phoenix and that hurts alot. Lets not forget, Ben Wallace missed 2 critical free throws down the stretch that would have put the game out of reach. Credit Phoenix for fighting back, they didn't quit and wound up catching lightning in a bottle. Good game to watch, wish it were a different result but it is what it is.
But thats wallace.. I dont think skiles got out coached... IT was the Dumb turnovers we had when they wasnt even defending us that hard. I think we need to start Gordon till Kirk comes back..... Or Keep duhon as 6man. Cause Kirk just doesn't look right playing SG. Hes not a shooter.
I was at this game tonight and it was great! its too bad they lost in the closing seconds but they all played a great game especially deng. nocioni forced too many shots today.
I still think we are at least a year away from going beyond the second round of the palyoffs, and the next step is beating those western confrence teams and getting a better road record.Wallace will always miss a few from the line, but the turnovers killed us. Does anyone know the stat for games decided by two/three points or less for the Bulls so far?
Well we showed that we can play with the suns. And we didnt have Kirk hinrich. I think thabo did a real good job defending nash. the rookie showed that he can do what we want him to do.
Is it just me or does it seem pretty evident that a backcourt of Gordon and Thabo is better than a backcourt of Kirk and Duhon? What is with Skiles and his random rotations? One night he plays Michael Sweetney for 20+ minutes for about a week and the next game he doesn't play him at all? If I were a player I would absolutely hate Skiles.
The reason Gordon and thabo looks better is cause Gordon is learning how to play PG Thabo is a PG/SG/SFPlus thabo is tall..Duhon PGKirk PG........... Small backcourt... Kirk is not a shoot1st player which it seems like they want him to be.. Then Kirk has to defend the best player on the other team... PG or SG.. Kirk has 2 play the PG
