He forgot the part about bringint Pete Newell back from the dead and sending him to his camp for 2 years in a row.

    Then it isn't so funny.

I do think we need to do something different at the start of games - that's 3 straight home games where we haven't been able to score for the first 6 minutes.

We need to get rid of him while we can. Other teams apparently have interest just because he's a stretch 4. He's athletic but never uses it. Times he has posted up it looks alright but he never uses that either. He just sits outside the three point line and when he gets an open look he usually hesitates and gives it up. His defense is terrible. No need for him. Let vonleh keep developing, Meyers has proved his ego is as fragile as Lamarcus Aldridge. He just can't handle it. No sense in wasting more time on him.

As several have suggested starting Aminu for Vonleh and inserting Crabbe is probably a good idea. Give Vonleh minutes but do it as a sub. Worth a try at least as experimenting this season is the way to go IMO

If he's scoring 12 "swish3s" a game, he'd lead the league in scoring.

Meyers would spell his own name right.

Here is what the Blazers should try tonight.

Start Meyers and empower him to take at least 12 3-point shots during the game. This is an untried strategy!

With 15 points from 5 swish3s and probably 3+ additional FT points (18+), the Meyers plus Dame combination of 40-50 points would put the Blazers on track for a 40-50 win season.

I'd be down for Meyers to take twelve 3's tonight no joke. He can shoot them well if he's got it going, and I assume he wouldn't take 12 unless he had it going.

Sheez! How would the guards get 50 shots?

Some of the guard shots, such as the first 2 by CJ that didn't fall, would be better shot by Meyers. There would be enough shots if the Blazers are scoring better with higher percentage shooters.

In a winning game, the Blazers may want to shoot up to 30 3-pointers, which leaves room for 12 tries by Meyers. It would be nice to have more 3-point threats in the game now, wouldn't it?

Don't those Dame swish3s feel good (especially in the first minutes)?

Meyers is 1 for 1 with swish3s. Let's continue the idea!

His 3 was most definitely NOT a swish!

Right, but the 3 points count! When I say swish3, I use the term to mean any of the 3s. But the swish is often the way Meyers does it!

And when Nards passes up those shots that are wide open when the guards hit him.
Then what do we do? Blame Lillard & Stotts still for not "empowering" him to shoot.

I can't be the only one who watches Stotts when Nards passes up a shot....
    Or maybe I am...
