Big game tonight. I want this W badly to get a good run started. 3 very tough road games after this one.

    Lindberg scratched.

    Lines appear to be:

    • JT Miller, Derick Brassard and Mats Zuccarello
    • Chris Kreider, Kevin Hayes and Jesper Fast
    • Rick Nash, Derek Stepan and Jayson Megna
    • Tanner Glass, Dominic Moore and Viktor Stalberg

Can AV just come out and say he enjoys the way that Glass sucks his dick already please? I mean, there's literally no other reason he's in the lineup these days. Although, if Glass takes out that piece of shit that took out Stepan and pummels him into the ice and breaks some facial bones of his, I'll be A-ok with him in the lineup. Odds are, no one does shit to any Bruins player and they all play timid and scared and get out played physically tonight.

Seriously. Lindberg is scratched after scoring last game but Glass is still in? AV, can go fuck himself. What a freaking moron that guy has become. I assume Dylan scratched as well. What a joke this coach is.

You knew Glass was playing tonight given he fact this game could get chippie after the last Bruins game. And yes McIlrath scratched as well.

Need to stay out of the box:

Oscar Lindberg lit the lamp Saturday, giving him a goal and an assist in his last two skates since enduring an 11-game pointless drought from December 6-January 2. Lindberg has 11 markers on the season -- sixth most of any NHL rookie.

New York has gone without a power-play goal in a season-high five straight games (0-for-15 during span). Boston is 6-for-18 (33.3 percent) with the man-advantage in its last five contests.

This is what I don't get about Dylan being scratched. If he fights some in here complain that he's out for 5 minutes and it's bad having one of our 6 dmen out. However, let's look at his minutes. If we figure he's our 6th dman, and thus is on the 3rd pair, how much ice time is he truly missing in those 5 minutes? 1:30? I'm ok with that so long as he puts guys in their place....which is face first on the ice. Now, him getting an extra 10 obviously effects that, but if it's a simple 5 minute major I'm ok with that.

Boring, uninspiring hockey. I forgot that garbage Megna is in also over linberg. AV is an assclown.

Boyle has been on his ass all period but yes, lets scratch your most physical d-men against the Bruins.

It is what it is at this point with AV and his line choices. It's obvious that his infatuation with mediocre players (Glass, Megna, Boyle) over young guys is just never going to change unless these pieces are taken away from him. I don't mind Boyle playing over McIlrath against some teams, but against physical teams there's NO WAY Boyle should be in. He simply can't move anyone or win a board battle against a team like this. Whatever. At this rate, I doubt we see McIlrath ever again this season minus an injury and Glass is in indefinitely as well unless he suffers an injury as well.

LOL...he has loser megna playing with Stepan and Nash but 11 goal scorer needs to be scratched. Actually, one underrated thing about Oscar is that he is a good physical player.

It is just a waste of time watching this squad and this coach. Hank has quietly turned into the highest paid sieve in the NHL.

No, the D has been as bad. You only look at the scoresheet. They run around and get pinned down constantly in their zone because we have the softest pussies playing D in the NHL. How are you gonna get any sustained offensive pressure if you always defend in your own zone.

No, the D has not been bad the past 5 or 6 games. The Bruins have a small # of chances in this game. They scored on a weak ass goal allowed by Hank.

I know they are not perfect, which is what you all expect, but the D has been good the past 5 or 6 games.

We'll do the same thing we did on Saturday.

    Hayes...useless. Kreider...useless. Megna...useless. Fast...useless for O. Moore...useless. Glass...useless. Stalberg...just about useless.

    A pile of crap upfront.

Well, we have a guy like Lindberg scratched. Who needs goals when you have Tanner Glass and AHL fodder Megna in the lineup.

McIlrath will get his chance now. I can see Girardi missing a couple of games with a cut hand. We play Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. Maybe McIlrath gets all 3 games.

Of course, our assclown coach is now forced to play McI.
