Not sure when they are planning UFC 200 for, sounds like July 4th weekend, but I would think they are hoping to get their champs on both cards.

Can't wait for all the sherdog posts claiming Mystic Mac is ducking Edgar and will get destroyed by RDA. Some of these fans are so salty about McGregor.

The truth is, this fight was the right one to make. If McGregor doesn't get fucked up, he should be able to fight Edgar at UFC 200 which will sell. With this fight on UFC 197, it could break records as McGregor's popularity continues to rise, and with the hilarious red panty night dialogue between these two.

If McGregor loses to RDA, oh well. Yes it will suck, but he can go back down to FW and fight Edgar and nobody cares, except for Conor's haters.

If McGregor lost to Edgar, then the fight between RDA and McGregor probably loses a little bit of its gusto as McGregor's hype train derails a little bit

RDA/McGregor will be the most consequential fight in modern UFC history. It's beyond a title unification bout. McGregor is attempting something truly special.

Rumour that RDA isn't signing anything until the UFC gives him a major raise. Pretty smart.

I wonder if McGregor can really take out RDA.
