I've never listened to his podcast but saw that he tweeted this today

I didn't happen to catch it, but will give it a look when it is published to iTunes.

Edit: I misread his tweet, looks like maybe it comes out some time tonight.

It looks like his podcasts are published to multiple sites, so when this releases I think we can find it at these websites.

    Neil is gushing about Terry.

Was hoping a Blazer would get on this podcast. I subscribe to it and was absolutely thrilled to see this pop up on my stitcher.

Also, I am so glad we have direction, and a leader in the front office who gets it.

Man, after a decade of drama and craziness, this stability feels amazing.

Sidebar: Neil was calling in to this from Lexington, KY and will be in Durham, NC later this week. He said he really believes in scouting in person. Early part of the season, he travels with the team, but sees more value in being at college games every night (especially with other GMs also being there scouting with him if there's any discussion needed). He says he has a great trust in the staff in his office, but when he's recommending Paul to take a guy in the draft in June, he wants to have seen him longer than in a pre-draft workout. Woj talks about Neil scouting CJ in the middle of winter, etc.

Great listen and provides some serious confidence in our FO.

If there is one thing people can't deny about Neil, it's that he's got a nearly spotless record of drafting guys that turn into quality players.

All solid rotation players at least. It's not always picking the best player available, but to have most of your picks actually become contributors is pretty difficult.

Ya Meyers ahead of Draymond/Crowder/Middleton, and Aminu ahead of PG/Hayward are bad.

But in aggregate, he has done pretty damn well. All those guys in 2012 were second rounders, so essentially everyone miffed on em. No excuse for missing on PG however, given the guy is from LA where Neil built his career, and played college ball in Fresno.

All said, he has one of the best draft records in the league today. Bob Meyers in GS might be the only one ahead of him in the # of hits. Perhaps Morey as well.

GarPax are REALLY good drafters. The Spurs scouting staff as well. Either way, I think Neil is in the upper echelon of GMs for drafting.

"Agree , Disagree , Align." I like that.

Hopefully this will put some people's fears to rest that Stotts is simply about winning right now, but probably not.

I wonder if Neil had his eye on any of those three second round picks? Barton, who turned out to be a great pick, was selection shortly after Middleton so we really didn't get a chance to snag any of those players with our final pick of the draft.

Wow this is a great listen. Neil speaks so well, and you really get a sense that he knows what he's doing. I'm not worried about our future at all. After seeing the talent he put together with the 9 new players he brought in, and knowing that he has a plan for the future. I'm confident in all these guys, I think we might have the brightest future in the NBA.

If you haven't already listened to this, you need to!

I mean I already knew it but hearing Olshey say it was great. "Noah's going to be a great player in this league"

Im going to buy a Vonleh jersey. Should I go red, black, or white? I'm leaning towards red.

My favorite are the Silver/White Rip City jerseys but not sure how often they have those available. Especially for someone like Vonleh, that might be hard to come by.

First choice would be a white rip city sleeved jersey, but those are only available for Dame at the moment, and I already have a Lillard Jersey.

I'm not sure they will sell rip city jerseys without the sleeves anymore, at least not through the NBA store.

But once again probably not available for many players (or even more than one).

Just now listening to this. One random thing I've noticed--Neil is one of those people who makes a point to say the name of the person to whom he's speaking, multiple times. I'm tempted to start over and count how many times he says "Woj".

Woj is developing a serious powerhouse over at Yahoo. Got Givony from DraftExpress, solid writers like Michael Lee and now Chris Mannix to generate content.

And he's had multiple GMs and star players (Kyrie today) on podcast.

A game changer for bball coverage. The new grantland of sorts but with less fan perspective and more insiders.
