But as for Calderon, who is looking at a ton of time tonight, has to do his best to keep Nash on his feet. Nash on the other hand is looking to use his skill advantage over Nash and cash in one more win for the suns..Rasho Should Be Tired By Now Rasho N, is really getting tired of matching up with superstar centers. Anyways, Rasho for one more night looks to take care of the big and really really damn powerful Amare Stoudemire. At any point in the game Amare just mucsles his way through the D. Look for the Raptors to really double this guy.Starting off the Bench A possible contender for 6th man of the year, Barbosa looks to matchup up tonight with a possible bench warmer of the year Fred Jones. Both play similar games at times, but Jones has been relying on his jump shot a bit too much. Barbosa however, has been a key to the Suns sucess providing positive action off the bench. RF1's X-FactorTorontoMorris PetersonPhoenixRaja BellDespite the funny picture, it seems that when Raja Bell scores 25 a night, the Phoenix Suns win. I think more than often he is the key to the game for this team. He has a good all around game and can really really give you a spark in the backcourt. As for the Raps X Factor, Morris Peterson, who is have a sub-MO season this year, looks to pick up the pace and get us some points.RF1's 3 Keys to the GameToronto1. Run, Pheonix plays our game, and we can teach them a thing or two.2. Use the Home advantage, you know the Raptor record at home, take advanatge of your court.3. Free throws. One of the easiest way at scoring against teams like these would be to go to the line.Phoenix1. Attack the PG spot, with Ford out, that should be out.2. Shoot the 3, the Raptors have always had week perimeter D, feel free to shoot the 3.3. Ball to Amar, I think he can handle the Raptors in this case. My thoughtsThis will be a very tough one, but needed, as the Raptors look to maintain position on the Atlantic. My guess is a loss right? But even if TJ and Garbo are out, it looks like with Bosh we could fight for the game tonight. Now Raptor Fans, dont expect a win, but expect Bosh to get back to his normal All Star self. My guess would be a close Phoenix win: 106-102Pre-Game Notes: Suns coming off 1 point win at Chicago last night, Raptors looking to end 2 game losing streak. Past 5 Game Outlook: Dec. 22 (W 101-100) Dec. 23 (L 97-110)Dec. 27 (W 100-97) Dec. 29 (L 97-107) Dec. 30 (W 104-110)Forward 5 Game Outlook: Jan. 5 Jan. 7 Jan. 9 Jan. 10 Jan. 12

I have a little feeling that Toronto will lose... Phoenix is too good.Hope they prove me wrong though.

Bosh vs. Amare should be great, but I'll miss a quarter or 2 of the action.
I don't know how some of you people are thinking this will be that close of a game. I say this will be an easy win for the Suns.
I think we will lose too, but then its going to be an exciting game to watch, bosh coming back and we get to see Nash come home to canada.
100-98 Suns it was a close game in the 2nd half. Raps stepped it up on d and Anthony Parker played good d, making them not get a shot up 2 3 times. Actually the raps could of won this game if they made their free throws and we could of got stoudamire fouled out he playing with 5 fouls in the last 4 mins. But then nash stepped it up. AN exciting game to watch though
Wow I am just going to shot myself! We were up by 1 and we fould Nash behind the 3 point arc!!! abviously he converted...Then he drilled another one! OHMYF*CKINGGOSH. We were so freaking close, and then Parker hit the 3 and it turned out to be a point game. Marion got fouled and missed 1!! then Darrick Martin missed the final 3 to get your final right here!! F*ck man I thought we were gonna run away with it.

QUOTE (7Goat @ Jan 4 2007, 03:57 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Well, at least we kept it close. The game wasn't anywhere on TV though.
It was on the score.
Since this is the game thread I thought I'd post that the Suns are 13-1 in the East so far and 8-0 on the road. Boy, I sure wish we were in the East. That could mean the best single season record in history.
Wow, what a great game last night! I was shocked that Sam Mitchell didnt call a time out. They had 1 20 left and I felt they could have got a better shot than the one Martin took. I only wonder what would have happened if TJ Ford was in the game :dribble:

I had basketball practice until 9:00 EST, so I only got to see the end of the game. If Chris didn't commit that dumbass 3 pt foul, we would have had a very good shot at this. I was pretty pissed off about that play. Also, didn't we have a 20 second timeout at the end? Why the hell did we inbound the ball right by our net? We should have used the timeout so we could imbound it right by the Suns' net. We would have had a decent shot at the game winner if we did that. I was completely puzzled at that..
NO, we didn't have a timeout.I agree, if anybody has to take that shot its either Calderon (speed) or Peterson 9amazing with circus shots) D-0Mart tried to be a hero and he missed bad.

To bad though, we could really hurt them.
