He's hit 18 of his last 36. Plus, he's shooting a career high from the FT line. Where are the haters now? Are Quick and Jaynes tweeting how well he is playing. Fuck em all.
Naw he's been killing latley. I'll give him that. This is what I wanted. That's all. Go back to my history and see all I've criticized dame on was his 3 point chucking and being inefficient. His leadership and everything else is perfect.. All I wanted to see was near 39-41% from 3, from our star pg who relies on that shot pretty frequently. So I'm happy to be proven wrong for the betterment of the trail blazers.. Now let see if he can keep this up
Listen Vonleh ain't all that.. He's terrible offensively and is shy as a church square still.. No confidence in himself enough for me to see what the big deal is about him.. He has great defense tho, I do like that
Being as young as he is and great on defense is a good thing. Defense at the NBA level takes most players years and years to figure out. His offense needs some work, but he has shown new moves. Tonight, he had a spin around left handed hook shot that looked smooth. He definitely needs more work, but his offensive game should grow as he gets more reps. Just my opinion. He seems like a guy that is about 2 years away from showing what he is truly capable of.
Tunchi... when you area shooter and in a slump, you dont stop shooting. You shoot more to break out of it. Your temporary complaint about what Dame was doing? Is exactly what he should have been doing....
Sooooo lacking in confidence that he power dunked right over Gobert!!! Confidence can take time too. Because he wasn't born thinking he is Superman, doesn't mean he cant grow. Ive seen great growth so far. Im extremely happy he isn't trying to do too much and is easing his way iunto the game offensively. Defense should be his key at the moment anyhow. His offensive game will come as long as we have Stotts as our coach. Not worried about Vonleh IMO, he will turn into a solid rotational player at the very least. Possibly a starter, and maybe, just maybe, an all star down the road.( that might be pushing it)
I just see so many similarities between Jermaine and Noah. Very young. No confidence. I just think the kid needs time.
