It's going on in downtown L.A. near Broadway, just a couple blocks north of Skid Row.

That's 55 miles from my door. Luckily there's 25 Miles of the San Gabriel Mountains in b/t this desert and downtown LA. Altho' that doesn't stop, this once one cowboy, one horse, small town, into becoming LA's latest ghetto, which its quickly becoming, with shit like this locally; also beginning to rear its ugly head b/t this shit and black lives matter, I wan't to scream....or unload my AR-15, even if its not into a crowd, maybe the air, but then I'd knock the Sheriff's Chopper's out of the sky.....

LAPD, and LASD usually (since the early 90s Riots), have been told to stand down, stay away, let them have their bullshit day, and not interfere. Now if it were a full blown riot, then the Mayor calls out the National Guard like during the riots. Altho' sooner or latter, and prior to the NG's, both LAPD, and LASD do engage with lethal force....

I gotta' say for these turbulent tumultuous times, both PD/SD forces, still don't have a problem capping a fkng loony man walking down Hollywood Blvd waving a bush knife at people, which they did not that long ago....Hell, in town here, a woman brandishing a knife (yes she was black) was shot and killed here in town Yesterday. A Kid who hijacked a car was shot and killed the day prior, also a black kid punk, who had a toy gun in his hands, and the law has changed to include "toy guns", if there is no distinction, (and there rarely is), then its open fire time....

LA Law Enforcement is a microcosm of the US, in ways, of dealing with thugs, or people unlawfully taking to the streets, with no permits. From what I've been hearing, they're simply trying to let them disband, and burn out, go home, with no interactions other than the fkd up Press covering it.

The last thing law enforcement here (or anywhere) wants is: No riots, thus the stand back out of site approach. Tho' I myself am surprised to not see at least some LAPD on Horseback, drawing a stop line. Again, no engagement, typical of this war torn town.....
