JJ Abrams has released a trailer for 10 Cloverfield Lane. According to buzz it seems to be attached to Cloverfield, but not a direct Sequel. Seems JJ is trying to build an anthology. He called 10 Cloverfield Lane, Cloverfield's "blood relative".

Either way fucking sweet! Comes out March 11th

It's not found footage. It is one of the best teaser trailers I've seen in a long time though.

The movie was originally not connected to Cloverfield at all until JJ became a producer on it.

The early plot description when it was going by The Cellar/Valencia:
"The story follows a young woman who wakes up in a cellar after a severe car accident and fears she has been abducted. Her captor, a doomsday prepper, tells her he saved her life and that there has been a terrible chemical attack that has left the outside uninhabitable. She does not know what to believe and as tensions rise, she decides she must escape, regardless of the terrors that await outside.ā€

Yeah that was legit. Almost the same "wtf is this about" as the original, which I definitely enjoyed.

    I liked Cloverfield.

I get the impression that John Goodman will die in the first ten minutes of this one. :(

Hated Cloverfield. It made me ill, literally. I am seemingly very susceptible to motion sickness, so the hand-held, shaky camera gimmick was a nightmare to me. It didn't affect any of my friends, so I had to watch the movie laying my head down on the seat next to me, while feeling like I was going to throw up for 2 hours.
