I see nothing wrong with teaching children about where they are from and giving them a knowledge base of the country they live in. Teach the children about the United States, its laws, and history. And teaching kids the Pledge of Allegiance is totally fine. I learned it as a kid. Just because I lean left, doesn't mean I hate patriotism or pride in one's country. So, don't paint me with that brush. What we see in both clips is shameless indoctrination. Those kids are too young to side with Donald Trump. They haven't gone over his political points, or his various platforms. They haven't compared his beliefs to that of other candidates. They are being used like pawns from either their parents, the political machine, or both. I think that is bullshit, personally. And yes, I feel the same way about the video with children singing Obama fairy tales. Bullshit. At least Obama didn't have those children suit up and sing that song for a fundraiser.

This reminds me of being forced to hold anti-abortion picket signs at a giant rally/protest in Roseburg OR when I was like 7. I had no clue what I was doing or what I was representing. All of these examples are like parents treating their children like circus monkeys. Dress them up, teach them whatever opinion they want, and then make them dance for the public. Completely shameful, and that has nothing to do with the right or the left. It happens all across the spectrum.

Feel free to disagree. That is your choice. But, I find it sickening. That is my opinion and my choice.

The girls in the video appear to be more into hitting their dance moves and happily intoxicated by the national attention than into the message they repeat.

The kids at school look like scared marionettes trying hard to memorize the message so they can pass a class.

Neither video is right, nor are the motives of the adults involved right. Both videos are different types of being wrong and not acceptable behavior in our country.

If you feel like having a stroke today, feel free to watch the slowed down version. Sooooo creepy. It is like a Tim and Eric sketch.

When my dad was a little kid in Cuba the soldiers that fought for the rebel leader before Castro would come into his grade school. On the wall of his classroom was a picture of the current Cuban President and a crucifix. They would take the picture of the president down and while holding it so all the kids could see they would tell the kids to put there heads on their desks and pray to the president for a candy bar. Nothing happened. Then they would take the crucifix down, hold it out, and then tell the kids to put their heads on their desks and pray to Jesus for a candy bar. Again, nothing happened. Finally they would hold up a picture of the current rebel leader for the kids to see. Then would tell the kids to put their heads on their desks and pray to him for a candy bar. While their heads were on their desks the rebels would run around and put a candy bar on every desk.

That's weird and funny, but it's also kind of sweet in an innocent way. The kids have no idea what they support, just what lyrics their parents gave them and what dance moves they planned. How many times have we seen kids create a routine to some god awful music or for a class play/skit. It's part of growing up, and that includes the inevitable embarrassment that comes with hindsight. But the parents on the other hand, be they pageant moms, American Idol parents or political go-getters that exploit their kids in this way, it's pretty ridiculous and disturbing.

I don't blame these kids either, but their parents/society, now that's a different story.

Sorry friend, I hope it is not serious. I find nothing wrong with the kids singing, I suspect they had fun. Would I put my granddaughter up there? No, but I will be damned if I will judge anyone that does.

I am loving how the Here Comes Honey Boo Boo fans have embraced The Donald as one of their own.
