    "SIX YANKEES FILE FOR ARBITRATION

    "LHP Aroldis Chapman, RHPs Michael Pineda, Nathan Eovaldi and Ivan Nova, SS Didi Gregorius and 2B/OF Dustin Ackley were among the 156 MLB players to file for salary arbitration on Tuesday. The six will swap proposed figures with New York this week, unless they agree to contracts."

    Friday at 1 p.m. ET was the deadline for teams to settle on 2016 contracts with arbitration-eligible players before proposed salary figures were exchanged, the final step before arbitration hearings are scheduled between Feb. 1-21



    Players still pending, who have not accepted/settled offers: -

    A. Chapman: filed/proposed a $13.1 million salary to the Yankees, who proposed $9 million, according to Heyman.

    I have yet to hear how much the other Yanx are asking or filed for, and what they've been offered, as of late.

    Donaldson made 4.3 MiL last year, filed for 11.8 Mil$$$ and the Jays offered Josh- 11.35

    Moustakas' proposal was for $7 million and the Royals proposed $4.2 million,
    Lorenzo Cain: filed for $7.85 million; with the Royals proposing $5 million...

    Arrieta- who made $3.63 million last year, proposed a 2016 salary of $13 million , who proposed $7.5 million,


    Those who settled:

    Dallas Keuchel, agreed to a $7.25 million salary. Keuchel made $524,500 last year

    S. Strasburg: asking for "proposal" - ($10.4 million), made $7.4 Mil last year

    Kenley Jansen: "proposal" - ($10.65 million), made $7.424 last year

    Nolan Arrenado:
    "proposal" - ($5 million), made $512, 000 last year, (was contracted for only 5ooK this year.

    Matt Harvey: "proposal" - ($4.25 million), made $624, 000 last year

    Trevor Rosenthal: "proposal" - ($5.6 million) made $535, 000 last year

    Jose Fernandez: "proposal" - ($2.8 million). made $674, 000 last year
