No one is bashing his effort. I think he is giving 110%. Effort however does not equate to improved speed.

    Pretty much this^^^^
It was obvious CJ had pressure to perform and I think Dame took them lightly along with a couple others. Combine that with being completely flat footed and no off the ball movement....
Im not gonna say Leonard sucks, but I will say he does need ot improve for me to want to see him on the roster next year, and he needs to do it like... now. He has had his time to progress. No, Im not saying he should be an all Star, but if projected to be a future starter, well now is when he should have gotten there, and he clearly isn't. I like Vonleh much better even with his offensive inefficiencies. If we are going to pay him what he is going to be offered this summer then he better be starter caliber. We already have Crabbe we are gonna have to pay starters salary to be our 6th man. We cant have two of them on the bench.

Maybe you should understand exactly what you're talking about when you compare us to a lynch mob. Because that's what you're saying. Typing WTF is what I should have done.

Beat the Thunder then lose to the Sixers, a team which is considered to be an embarrassment to the league.

That classic phrase "any given night" could freely be expressed in Philly now. :(

I watched game highlights at work and it's good Meyers is finding his stroke again but he's just defensively stupid. It's not skill, it's mental. He dove on the ball then while lying on the ground held the ball up in the air about 3 feet off the ground like handing it to the other team and sure enough, they snatched it and finished a fast break. He walks around too much without getting in a defensive stance. All this tells me one thing....we need a serious big man coach on the bench..Meyers isn't slow running the fast break, he's actually pretty fast sprinting, it's his head that is slowing him down.

Looked like the whole team was hung over...that or bloated from greasy Philly cheese steaks.

Meyers is very fast. Usually the first down the court. I completely agree that firing Kim Hughes has set him back and they need a better big man coach.

Well, I'm just glad Neil dodged another bullet with this failed signing. He had better not give Meyers a big contract this offseason, I will puke. Meyers is like a 3rd string utility guy you bring in against certain teams. He wouldn't even be getting any playing time on a good team.

He's got gym athleticism. He can run great in a straight line, and jump high, but he doesn't use it well in the game.

Semi trucks are fast too. However, their turning radius sucks.

Well, that was a fun game to watch at 3AM. Ouch.

Plenty of blame to go around:

I blame SPD for ogling Nicki Minaj instead of focusing on the Blazers.

I blame jlprk for pretending to post here when he was actually spending most of his time on the Maine Red Claws game thread.

I blame Kingspeed for imitating super-positive Asian Roland Chang.

I want doomsday season-over Kingspeed back for these dark games.

    I'm very disappointed.

I only watched the first half but...
Can we stop giving Leonard playing time ? It's getting to a point where I start to be physically ill each time he's on the court
