It needs to be a give and take working together. I get dumps point though, although a little overstated..., if the coach has a blind spot for a player that is hurting the team, the GM needs to open a coaches eyes or take the toy away, but working together. Not good to just pull the rug from under your coach.
Stoll was signed for his faceoff prowess so the decision was to keep D. Moore over him (wrong pick IMO). I'm the only guy who has no problem with Glass, he plays limited minutes and is the only Ranger who knows how to hit (unless McIlrath is in the lineup). The offense is not as bad statistically as some make it out to be (4th in the NHL in goals per game), suggesting that Tanner Glass being in the lineup is the reason that Nash, CK, Stepan, Hayes and others are having down years offensively is far fetched since they were not doing much while Glass was in the AHL.
I think the decision was Stoll or Glass not Stoll or Moore. That is why Glass was the one who was sent down to start the season not Moore. Our PK has also been going down a bad road since we let Stoll go. To me I keep Stoll over Glass every day of the week. Is what it is. Where I do agree with you panzer is this season the Glass thing is overblown. He hasn't been near the negative player he was last season. He is still not good, but he is not close to the liability he was last season. I also agree with you regarding his affect overall. While I hated him playing last season, and don't like it this season, I also know he is not close to the biggest reason we didn't score last season and struggle to score this season against the better teams as the games get bigger and tighter. There is a long list of players I put ahead of Glass in terms of killing us on O, players who are paid to score goals. We agree there for sure panzer, even if I dislike Glass on this team.
How do the Pens for these guys under the cap? Geeze, this team needs some cap relief to get better players. No way Krieder, Hayes deserve raises
