I couldn't help but be reminded of mid-80s MJ. The Sixers all knew Butler was taking it to them, but they couldn't stop him without fouling. Rinse-repeat. Sure hope he's as durable as MJ was.
It was something else. The thing is, MJ didn't usually follow up those performances with 4 point efforts. The last three guys to score 50 or more for the Bulls? and of course.....
I don't remember what MJ's record for consecutive double-digit scoring games was, but it was ridiculous. Butler's no MJ. No one is or ever will be.
