First of all I doubt I can ever use this word without trouble. Secondly, what's wrong with Flav?

My wife used to work for a large corporation. The only reason they care about fairness in hiring and workplace fairness is so they don't get sued.

One of her equals would not schedule more than 2 black women to work at the same time. Nobody cared.

It's anecdotal for sure, but you don't think these things happen over and over on small levels every day?

Luckily she now works for a franchise owner that is about as fair as they come. These people she works for do everything they can to make sure everyone is treated equally.

The problem with the world is that things might be done that they aren't aware of. Who would know if some manager scheduled a black girl to work an extra weekend here and there just because?

Who knows why a cabbie skips a black guy? I've got some ideas but how do you prove something like that?

I do believe that we can go too far to try to be fair. An Asian kid shouldn't be penalized for being Asian, that's just bullshit.

I like Flav too but Chuck D is the reason I love Public Enemy. I saw Flav playing drums with the UNLV band at a basketball game a few years ago and it was awesome.

Wait a minute, MarAzul IS a ship's captain. Uh oh, getting bruised on a cruise.

Why are you hung up on this?

There isn't a stamp on your driver's license that gets us shit. There isn't a government white privilege bureau that keeps track of how many times I get bumped to first class on a flight.

It just is. White people have advantages. The time is fast approaching when white people won't be the majority so it will eventually end.

Yeah that is a really good one. Up there with my favorites.

I hate almost all rap but I love Public Enemy. I don't know what to say, I don't connect with 75 percent of what they talk about but I feel it somehow. It's weird. I guess it is just so genuine that I can't deny it.

When they list off a bunch of heroes that won't appear on no stamps I'm like WHO???

Nothing. Flav played his role perfectly. He was supposed to portray America's stereotype of the average black man. Now he's just doing it to keep the bills paid.

So it's a conspiracy as to why your daughter wasn't accepted into Stanford because of black people and affirmative action (i.e. black privilege)?

Like judge Judy says: If it doesn't make sense it's not true.

    Typical response from you though...

I bet you can't stand Richard Sherman.

Is that true? I honestly can't say what I thought of the average black man before I knew who he was. The first rap I knew of was Run DMC when I was about 10 years old.

We only had 2 black kids in our school so I probably had no idea.
