Happy we got a point down a goal twice...now we need to finish this in OT. Big 2nd point here.

JT Miller has upped his game. He deserved that winner.

JT Miller has been outstanding lately. Good for him to get the game winner!

Final score way closer than the actual play of the game dictated, we pretty much dominated, but bottom line is we get 2 must have points. While we are struggling anytime we can get 2 points is big...also brings us closer to adding a forward, so that is a plus as well.

BTW...McDonagh is back to being a stud IMO. Great to see.

And Miller should get 17 or 18 goals...big for us. If Kreider and Hayes step up that would be nice.

Kreider continued to look good tonight. Used his size and was physical. Hayes still looked loss. Lots of bad reads and passes. Good for us that he's having a bad year in a contract year. Bad for us because we counted on him to be a big contributor.

Yeah, Kreider has played better the past couple of games. Hope he keeps it up.

Hayes...wouldn't even know he was on the ice recently.

Well once again we must say hopefully this game gets them going. I'm noticing better efforts from some guys so that needs to carry over.

    DONE...:).

In all seriousness though, who knows where this team will go from here. What I do know is we have played much better D the past 10 games or so, and that is good to see.

If we can get the O going, and Miller/Kreider need to be a big part of it, maybe we can get the ship righted. Also need to deal for a forward at some point I believe.

If we lost though Step would be flipping out saying trade everyone and fire AV and Gorton.

Win = don't get too excited beating a bad team.
    Loss = trade/fire everyone.

    Good stuff...:).

I was excited then remembered "Oh yeah the Rangers suck and they're not going anywhere". Thank goodness the negative nellies on this board keep this Rangers fan grounded. Lots of shots tonight, hopefully a precursor of things to come. Hanks made a few nice saves himself though it's all for naught because clearly this team is done.

Average team beat a below average team at home. This is what they are supposed to do. Doesn't change the fact this team can't compete with the big boys. It's obvious

and they didn't even do it in regulation. This win does not mask the issues that are still there and the obvious need for change.

Don't tell Chuck that. He's whacking it that they are in second place. It's like watches games vs. the best teams with his eyes closed.

Nobody said there shouldn't be improvemen's made. I'm sorry some of us weren't disappointed with a victory. I realize it goes against the bitch and moan about any and everything agenda.
