How do we decide who gets the Blazers?

    Coors light drinking contest?

Cool idea though. If you wanted to do it legit I think you would want to start up a fantasy league and draft the teams accordingly.

Draw names for the order to pick teams.

Let's open the bidding at $5, winner gets to pick names out of a hat and post the results.

Yeah but drafting a fantasy team isn't realistic. My idea is predicated on testing your GM skill!

    Bones, good idea.
In the very old days (90s) we used to have a volunteer (for each team) act as a GM before draft day. They would make a 5 or 6 paragraph scouting report on their team, and present it at the draft. Each GM had a couple of hours to publish their scouting report and draft their chosen player. It was fun, we did it about a week before the actual draft. You assumed for purposes of the draft that no trades were made, but GMs did talk about possible trades in their scouting report.

Problem is, really no one in this forum has real GM skills. Forum trades are fantasy trades.

We should do something like that for the draft at least. That'd be fun
