Always liked him in Boston, if he has anything left.

Ideally, he immediately replaces Glass on the 4th line LW and gives a boost to our struggling PK. Him and Campbell were a dynamite PK pair for the Bruins cup run. Then if we get some scoring up front for the top 9 he can be a Sheppard-type spot starter for us.

Realistically, he will probably replace Megna as the 13th forward and Glass will continue on his merry way. He signed a 2 way deal worth only 100k in the AHL, so I don't think he would have left his current minor league contract just to play for another AHL team for cheaper.

Andrew Gross (twitter): "Since Jarret Stoll was waived Dec. 13, opponents are 15 for 47 (31.9 percent) on the power play." Whoa that's bad. Great move there Gorton.

Gross: "AV says Daniel Paille will travel with the team to Raleigh. Could be a player move tomorrow."

Sounds like Kreider may be out, likely send Megna down. When Kreider comes back will be the test. If Lindberg ends up a full time scratch and we play Glass and Paille I will fight AV

Yeah...missing Stoll has KILLED OUR PK. I knew that was a terrible move the second we made it. But hey...we have Glass still...LOL.

And now we sign pretty much the exact same guy Stoll was. My lord that was dumb move.

I liked Stoll and think he would have been very valuable come playoff time. Oh well, I like the move signing Paille. Good vet, PK guy that won a cup. Remember, the 2013-2014 was so successful because they had a great 4th line. Hopefully Paille can spark that line

Nice little signing, but if AV keeps dressing Glass over Paille, OMFG

Until dumbass Gorton cuts or trades Glass, AV will continue to use that imbecile. He can't even kill penalties any longer. He's completely useless and our thickhead,l fatass coach continues to play him. Mind boggling.

Everytime Glass comes up, I'm not even going to discuss him anymore. I am just going to post this link over and over. Starting now.

I agree AV's likely to sit Megna over Glass, why would anything change? Any help on the PK would be a positive. Stoll's release remains a mystery, great stat to show how stupid a decision it was Prod.

I would love this move more if it meant the end of Glass.

Unfortunately, this only means the end of megna. Glass will somehow survive due to AV again.

    hahaha, that is terrible.

This is still my favorite empty net miss.

The Stoll move let me know Gorton had no plan
    to fill his defensive skills....
    Getting Paille at this
stage may be "too little, too late".....I don't think
Paille is as good as he was two years ago.

AV's attachment to Glass is shockingly dumb.
As others have mentioned..... Megna probably
goes to Hartford. If he continues to bench
Lindberg and/or Krieder for the stone hand
    Glass and cumbersome Paille........he's putting
enormous pressure on Stepan and Nash to
produce......and the way they have been playing,
the puck will not find the nets with any
    consistency.

If Gorton concurs with AV's idiocy, Rangers
    are treading on shaky ice.

We shall see how all this nonsense plays out.

There is so much I like about AV but he just has some dumbass ideas in his head he can't get rid of. I don't know why he doesn't try Kreider on right wing and work every day in practice at him tearing down the right side and curling to center ice and shooting. Defenseman back off him all the time and he can beat goalies with his shot from far out.

Interesting idea since he's tried nash both ways. Wonder why he hasn't. Now when he breaks in everything is on his backhand. Would be nice to see some of his blasts on his forehand
