The White Sox and free-agent righty Matt Albers are in agreement on a one-year deal with a club option for the 2017 season, reports Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports (links to Twitter). The SSG Baseball client will earn $2MM in 2016, and the contract’s $3MM club option contains a $250K buyout, per Rosenthal.
