The rule is that you can't coach the All-Star Game 2 years in a row. Kerr coached last year, so this year it'll be Popovich. If Kerr hadn't returned, it still would be Pop, since Walton's not the Warriors head coach.
That victory over the Cavs we had earlier in the season? Apparently they lost on purpose: No need to be rude, "Bay Area Sports Guy"...

Never thought Blatt was a good match for that roster. Once LeBron agreed to come back, they should have went with someone that could stand up to him. Say what you want about Spolstra, he could at a minimum do that.
This, and Blatt just isn't very good. He tried to call a timeout in a playoff game against the Bulls last season, and he had none. If the ref had seen it, technical FTs for the Bulls and they would have won the game. LeBron basically hated the guy as coach all along. And as good as the record is, the Cavs are doing worse and han expected. They spent way over the LT to add to their finals team of last year.
Blatt lost that locker room a long time ago...just a bad fit..good news is he gets the hell out of Cleveland
Happy New Year, or Eternity or whatever you celebrate out there. I liked your posts so this should buy me a couple of breaks right?
Seriously, he lost the locker room a while ago. But on the other he doesn't have to live in Cleveland any more. I swear, that city must suck for good reason. Every comedian, writer or sentient human being I meet rags on that city. Did it lose a bet with God or something? Wait... no that's Detroit. Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk
It's really funny to read the various reports referenced here. Berman of the NY Post and Wojo side with Blatt. Our old pal Haynes tells the story that Blatt was weak and useless. Nobody comes out of this looking good.
