Naw, some of the attire from that day was just plain bad. I remember one day, a full length mirror was installed on the inside of the door into the mens room where I worked, out at Consolidated Freightways. Holy hell!. I had to take off early and visit a mens store to clean up the bugger I saw.
I think you and riverman missed my sarcasm. I am just pointing out how ridiculous it is for blacks to say things like that about people who create music that they preceive to be "black music".
You clearly didn't watch Seinfeld. Fashion is cyclical. 30 years from now people will be bitching that kids pull their pants up too far.
One thing the hipsters are missing me is the whole fashion angle. When you want to rebel against "the norm" you wear stuff that piss off people about 10-15 years older than you. Like the emo kids did with 90's rock scene. The generation that was cool before you. Not your grandparents. Well the hipsters are wearing clothes popular from when they were glints in the Milkmens' eyes. It's almost like they are co-opting fads In a desperate attempt to remain relevant. Their becoming like beatniks in the middle of the sixties..... and you know what THAT MEANS FOLKS! Someone get out the Time Life Music Collection! : ) Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk
