Saw The Revenant. It was a good movie, a bit slow at points, but some of the best cinematography I've seen in a movie. The whole movie seemed bigger than itself in part due to the massive wide angle wilderness shots.

Leo did a great job acting the role.

Rev was an AWESOME movie! This is one I'll get the DVD for when it comes out. It had the distant musical tracks, but only when necessary. They were very short and gave edge to the relevant scenes.

If you haven't seen this one, you're missing out!

Concussion. Great film, seriously go see this. Will Smith won me back over with this one. Excellent.

Just finished Straight Outta Compton. It was really well done. I didn't like the actor playing Snoop and I thought for a minute Tupac was playing himself. Luckily Snoop was barely in it.

I generally don't enjoy true stories but this one was very good.

Edit. ..unrated director's cut. Almost 3 hours.

It didn't hurt that Ice Cube's son looks so much like him and can act.

I'm pretty sure they're just the best. I watched Barton Fink last night and absolutely loved it. Apparently they wrote it in three weeks because they were dealing with writer's block while working on Miller's Crossing.

Loved The Revenant. Not for Leo's performance. Nor for Hardy's . The true star is Inarritu's vision. If he'd come from an American film school that movie would have been completely different. Nobody gets off with a glamorous portrait in that film. I could see Sam Fuller shooting a film like that years ago. Amazing piece of work.

Will Smith doesn't have a cuss in his rap but he sure drops a lot of F bombs in his movies.

I don't recall one f-bomb in Concussion. Is there another Will Smith movie you might be referring to?

Usually the only bombs are his movies.... Although I hear decent things on Concussion.

    Straight outta Compton.

A lot better than I was expecting. Really well written given it's about Ni**as With Attitude.

Though, the scene of Eazy-E with the watery eyes as he drove around town was cheesy. Like, I made it
