This could be ugly. Then again, the Bulls surprise you sometimes against good teams. Warriors game from last week was of course not one of these times. In the NBA even the average to bad teams beat the elite teams from time to time. Lebron is going to want to make the coaching ouster look good on national TV. Hoiberg will try to counter this by throwing a crafty spitball of Hoiball at Lebron and see what happens.
Yeah, I'm done trying to read much into individual games and certainly will steer clear of predictions. Hope no one gets hurt.
Great Bulls win and a nice shot to Lebron. Cavs and Lebron looking initially foolish, but the playoffs is where this will be settled. Gasol is the ageless wonder.... great game. Also have to give some love to Gibson for doing the dirty work very well. Great to see Mirotic establish a pulse again.
I was afraid to make a prediction, but I was actually expecting this. It's in character for our team. Can't imagine Cleveland is always going to shoot that poorly, but it was a game well played, especially by the frontcourt. Who still wants to trade Pau for 2nd rounders?
Haha. I keep reading that the Bulls are a dysfunctional organization and any NBA team that fires its head coach at midseason with a .700+ winning % hasn't exactly got its organizational head screwed on right, so I guess in the "Battle of Dysfunctionals," the Bulls came out on top. In any case, as regular season wins go, this road win was a good one.
Pau Gasol steers Bulls past Cavs to spoil Tyronn Lue's coaching debut They changed coaches. Everything else about the Cavalierslooked the same. And as if they don't have enough problems, new coach Tyronn Lue said they're out of shape. Lue didn't make much of a difference in his coaching debut for Cleveland on Saturday night, when Pau Gasol scored 25 points to leading the Chicago Bulls to a 96-83 win over the Cavaliers.
