Rangers go for 3 straight...without Nash.

Rick Nash will not play for the Rangers today against the Senators in Ottawa.

Nash went into the boards on Friday and then was in pain after blocking a shot.

Alain Vigneault said that Nash is day to day and that he expects him to play tomorrow against Buffalo. (NYR)

Nash was "hobbling" around in "street clothes" while walking around the Ottawa arena. (Cyrgalis, Gross)

Chris Kreider is back in and Jesper Fast will move up and skate with Derick Brasard and Mats Zuccarello. (Giannone)

    Henrik Lundqvist is in net.

time for Stepan to contribute. Ottawa one of worst defensive teams ...if he cant get anything going soon the Rangers are going nowhere fast. Yandle and Mcd have been playing real well lately in both ends of ice and scoring as expected but the underwhelming Stepan is killing them

Hayes just isn't getting it done. Sophomore slump or whatever but i would look to definately use him in any deal.

Can't score again. D playing well. Hank playing well. Need to score some darn goals.

If we don't score more than 2 goals in regulation today that would be 6 times in the last 7 games we have scored 2 or less goals in regulation.

    Need some goals.

C'mon Klein get it together. He's not the same guy we've seen, maybe the injury is still bothering him. Either way it's anothet instance where the puck dosen't get to Ottawa's net and it goes the other way in the Rangers.

I think we'll break through if we keep pressing. Next goal is huge obviously.

We have such a different take on things 71...LOL.

I see a team that doesn't score as I called out above. You see one goal let up, on a nice play by Ryan with Klein draped all over him, and you knock the dman. I guess they should be perfect huh...:)...and the other team can never make good plays.

I think you would find a way to get on the D if they let up 1 goal every game.

What makes the world go round.

Maybe it's a little picky there, it just seems they're always a step behind with everything. It's more the frustration the offense is so inept.

Earlier in the season I agree. The past 12 games or so I really don't.

To me here is the bottom line today...the Sens have 1 goal through two periods. After a slow start, when the Rangers clearly didn't have their legs, the Sens have had few good chances. The Rangers have ZERO goals against one of the worst defensive teams in the NHL (29th in GAPG).

Every single one of us would have signed on if we were told the Sens would have 1 goal after two periods. We need to score some darn goals.

What a shock. These incompetent assclowns let up another goal with less than a minute left.

Nash has a presence. No doubt he needs to actually score goals, but we are all kidding ourselves if we don't think he draws attention and creates chances out there even when he isn't scoring.

LOL...you are asking way too much for this team to win 3 in a row. AV is a fat buffoon. Continues dressing one legged gimp Boyle. Why cant he give Lindberg a chance with brassard aand zucc? Why is Stalberg or Fast who is a fourth liner play on that line.

If there is anyone out from the top 6, Fast gets bumped immediately into the top 6. Why?
