    Really though, why take him at his word that it's about green eyes. We all know that's a crock of shit. He just said that of one of his grandchildren looked like me he'd be pissed.

    We all know what that means but we'd rather use the adjective crazy... :smiley-nope:

    My father is Hispanic with light brown hair and green eyes, My mother is Caucasian with red hair with brown eyes. Because of their interracial marriage that produced a blond with blue eyes my father has participated in the war against green eyed people according to Marazul. My parents went down to the village handout center and pulled out a mixed raced baby from the grab bag.

    Good to know.

    I respect anyone's choice to marry the person that they are interested in, but calling interracial marriage a grab bag free for all is insulting. Fact is we're all mixed genetically and before the late 1960s most folks wouldn't tell you they had any African, middle eastern, Asian or Hispanic blood in the family tree. My son and I are mixed and folks don't call us white or Taiwanese...they call us Americans. Why do all these OT threads end up with racial debate?

    If I misread I apologize....I do completely disagree that green eyes disappear when we mix the gene pool as I've posted a few of the thousands of photos of green eyed folks who are not purely Caucasian.

    Nope, we were talking about poll results showing the acceptance of interracial marriage increasing over time when you jumped in with this...

    You're the one who truly out of the blue started talking about what children look like from interracial marriages.

    You wouldn't call that a dominate gene in those people would you? It is fairly dominate among the Celtic/Nordic peoples but not dominate when mixed with the brown eye gene.
    My daughter married an Italian. Black hair, brown eyed children.
