I haven't liked the way Boyle has looked recently, so not surprised McIlrath is in for him.

I think we have a big performance tonight. We score 4 or 5 and the Sabres score 1 or 2. Nice win for us and we head into the break on a good note.

Girardi immediately gives up a good scoring chance in front

The fact that Arneil still has a job says all you need to know about this franchise and it's commitment to winning.

McIlrath with another great play and then a shot that leads to a goal. But yes, let's keep playing the ancient fucking Boyle.

They have to trade Yandle if for nothing else to get McIlrath in the lineup because it's obvious AV doesn't want to play him despite him being our most effective defensive dman and the best and hardest shot from the point. AV would rather play Boyle who can't do shit in the dzone over McIlrath who has risen to the occasion all year despite this coach shitting on him constantly.

Another game....another non shutout. 4th longest streak in the NHL without a shutout.

Oh boy. This might be my favorite complaint yet. Yep this is the one. Laugh out loud funny that we're now complaining about not shutting teams out in here. I think I'm throwing in the towel. Waiving the white flag. You all win. We suck. Can't even shut a team out.

    :( :( :(

Two blatant high sticks, and these blind mules missed both.

And first goal changed back to Big Mac. In slow motion the puck went off defensemen stick and not miller's elbow as it appeared on initial replays.

Great defensive play by staal covering up for klein turnover in last seconds of the period and stopping breakaway. Looked like the old staal there
