It is just something we're lacking. I don't say we need Shaq or Hakeem but even Thomas Robinson can make us muh better in this aspect
There's this guy on our roster who can do all of those things, but just hasn't been able to do them consistently...
There's also a guy on our roster who can do all those things consistently, and he's starting at center.
Why do you saybattitude replacement for Mo? Did I miss something last week? Was wondering why he only played one min last game.
He lacks intensity and focus. He hasn't done anything (last week) that I am aware of. I was only suggesting a brain surgery that would put more intensity into that skilled body!! A little more Jerome Kersey please!!!
Oh harsh I feel. I think he has been great this year. My favourite ofnthe season. You must have seen something I haven't.
This. Rebounding & Put-Back ability =/= Go to inside player. Chris Kaman and Noah Vonleh are our two best bets for go to inside post scoring. Noah will take 2-3 seasons until he becomes a beast down low, but it will happen.
Guys all we need is a good low post scorer who to stretch the floor who sets good screens and protects the rim! Lol The only 2 guys that fit that criteria? Anthony Davis and... Al Horford
lol This thread is oozing with blind optimism and homerism. We are currently lacking starting level talent. Greg Monroe would be starting level talent. If you want to wait around until you find the perfect big man, you're going to be waiting a very long time. Who cares if he's been on two teams in two years, you can say the exact same about anyone who is on a new team this year. How about the fact that he's been in the league for 6 years and he's only been on two teams? If it's a buy low opportunity, why not? He lacks defense, but so did Zach Randolph as well. The system and team defense can hide deficiencies. I'd be willing to bet the Bucks aren't looking to give up on him so cheaply.
This made me thinking, it would be kind of nice if Z-B0 comes back to finish his career in Portland. Still one of the best inside scorers in the league
Yes, I think so; just a guy who could hit a 10 to 15 foot jumpshot consistently would keep things from getting clogged and require defensive attention all the time. I believe Leonard has made those shots on the very few occasions he takes them.
Vonleh is slowly but surely improving to the point where he should be playing more minutes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
And if needed be quick enough to cover the perimeter. Bigs in the NBA are evolving...... I do continue to be impressed with Plumlee's ability to score in the post. 5-5 last night against decent defenders in Cauley-Stein and Cousins. Add Vonleh's 5-7 and there is potential. My bigger concern is SF where team are eventually going to leave Aminu wide open on the perimeter. His 3 pt shot drives me crazy. With Henderson playing so well as of late off the bench at SG, maybe we start Crabbe at SF and bring Aminu off the bench...
