The corporation that owns the Oregonian owns Reddit, the Oregonian employs Canzano, I rip off Reddit in hopes they will fire Canzano.

At first, I thought JC was trying to tell us something interesting about his personal life, something that maybe gave us a glimpse of why he has such a hard-on for athletes. Then, I realized he likes your school.

It comes across as a thinly veiled threat. Mr. Holier-than-thou professional journalist is being a bully. You made fun of him and now he's going to tell dad on you. You were just stating fact... he IS an assclown!
Why would he like my school though? It's a small college in Pasco, WA. If he can't realize that it was a lighthearted jab then he can go ahead and do whatever he wants! If he did then I'd just tell you guys all the petty stuff he was doing over something lighthearted, and you'd also have proof he reads this board haha.
Kinda similarly: A few years ago my daughter took some photographs of some classmates in several heart shaped poses for a breast cancer awareness art project they were working on. The finished photographs were featured at school in the display case, and the local newspaper did a feature story on them. The newspaper published pictures of the photos in the paper. The author of the piece named the students in the photo, but did not name my daughter, who was the artist who took and processed the photos. My daughter was crushed. The other students were credited. The journalist who wrote the article was credited. THE PHOTOGRAPHER WHO TOOK PHOTOGRAPHS OF MY DAUGHTER'S PHOTOGRAPHS AND PUT THEM IN THE PAPER WAS CREDITED. Again, my daughter was not. So, I wrote a nice (really) email to the author of the article explaining their oversight and explaining my daughter's disappointment. I received no response whatsoever.
I posted something about LMA about two years ago (during the off season). I made comments that were specific to his personality and things he had posted on twitter. About a week later he wrote an article basically paraphrasing it... true story. I know he reads these boards.
Mike Francesca is leaving the WFAN in NY next year. And in a perfect world they'd hire Canzano and his crew of pandering dipshits to go with him. Canzano claims he has turned down national and large market jobs because of his wife and daughter. I'm sure he's a joy to be around, "I've given up everything for you! I coulda been a star!"
