Shoutout to Denny for considering the charity idea...good to see those kids get some perks out of life. I'm not sure watching me get drunk would add much to their experience though

Screwed that last one all up.
Randalls Children's hospital by Emanuel here in Portland might be a good one. I could hook you up with someone to talk with.

Sly has a ton of "pull", but I don't think we're talking about the same kinda pulling...

BlazersEdge is raising money to send 2000 kids to a game.

Nah, I had it right the first time.

You're talking about a "tiny pole". Two totally different things.

    LOL! Yes, we know.

Do you see the difference? They want to send them to a game while you want to send them into a room with a bunch of strange men.

A room of 300 people, with people who work at the charity. As opposed to a stadium with a bunch of strange men.

    Kudos to BE.

OKay, we are assed out. There is only one suite left for the whole season and its for 2/2 and thats too soon and I cant make that night.
Looks like our only option for a gathering for this year is at a third party location.

I am going to get ahead of the game for next season though. As soon as the schedule comes out, I will be all over it. The first suite I thought was way too much fuin not to make it happen again. :)

I'm still good with having an "official" viewing party somewhere. A lot of McMenamin's have event type spaces. For instance, the one in Wilsonville has the old church with big screen it rents out for various functions. I'm sure other pubs would give us a corner to meet in, possibly at no charge. Kinda like the first meet and greet at Claim Jumper. It obviously won't be as immediate as actually being at the game but it's still guaranteed to be a lot of fun (assuming Wook, BBert, et al show). Plus we could brain storm (insert all relevant smart ass comments here) ideas for next year, as far as group functions go. I think we need to do something to keep the positive momentum going into the future.

I say we give sly all of our zip codes, then average the location for the most central, and go with that.

That would likely end up being grand central bowl.

We have people from wilsonville, Portland, troutdale, Albany, west Linn, Vancouver etc.

I'm tired of Grand Central Bowl, they have such crappy service.

Dr Jack's will open for private parties, lots of big TVs but the beer prices are a little high.

Does the Loyal Legion Hall have a space? And we need a place that will allow the younger gen like Bones to attend. Either that or find him some fake ID.......
