Man I thought Aldridge was boring in the AS game as a Blazer. I wonder how boring he's going to seem as a Spur...
LMA getting in is what pisses me off from all this. If he hadn't made it I don't think I would have cares as much. LMA wasnt even picked by almost every media person, he was not selected to their reserves. Yeah, he’s on the 2nd best team and he hasn’t played poorly, but I personally don’t think that he has integrated into that team as well as everyone expected (i.e. he appears to be a slow learner of their system). So how can he be playing at an All-Star level? Spurs were absolutely fine without LMA, given that and his huge drop off in stats. I understand they are the 2nd best team without him, so it is hard to say for sure that his reduced stats are actually contributing to better success for the team. I think coaches are simply rewarding his small financial sacrifice and his stats sacrifice. And that’s just not fair to Dame’s production and helping this team exceed expectations
I just think they are lazy. If Blake Griffin was not injured I am guessing LMA would not be on the team. I think they looked around for a big and LMA has been there the past few years and they simply voted for him again.
Moreover, he is not a "star" by any definition I've ever seen. Fans don't buy tickets to see LaMarCooch Aldrich.
Let Dame get a nice vacation come back with a giant chip on his shoulder and destroy everyone he plays from here on out.
LaMarcus Aldridge - All-Star 42nd in scoring. 20th in rebounding. 43rd in blocks 20th in offensive rebounding. 21st in defensive rebounding. 45th in PER. I mean... it goes on and on.
Is there no merit? Just because Aldridge is on a good team doesn't mean he should make it in over Dame. Dame is willing this team to a somewhat decent record.
