So my wife just sent me this, saying "Basketball is soooooo much more interesting with a witch haus soundtrack and no Mike's blibbering about stats and ads."

Watching it makes me want to draft his son regardless of who's on the board when we pick. I just really hope we're lucky enough to see another player like Sabonis play in the NBA - hopefully for the Blazers! I've only seen Porzingas a couple times, and he's certainly reminiscent of Sabas. But those passes, man! That's what I miss most when I watch the NBA - Sabas was pure magic.

He's our-vydas, and for that, I cannot bear to think about his son playing for another team besides ours.

totally on board with that. it just wouldn't be right if we didn't have him
you would think that sabas has been in his ear about coming here, in a perfect world it would happen and then sabas would make his return to the franchise and be AT LEAST our big man coach

Arvydas is without a doubt my all time favorite player. If we had him when he was healthy we would have at least 1 more banner hanging. Getting his son would be amazing.

This is the one thing that keeps me from loving him as much as I should. He made that decision.

If we were to draft Sabonis, Meyers is gone. Can't let him deny mini-Sabas use of the 11.

Maybe Philly would trade us Jahill and a couple of their late firsts for Meyers and Hendo plus filler.

Moot point. It is obvious from a number of the posts here that we are going to make the playoffs, miraculously make the first round competitive and, in the process, lose our draft pick.

I'm back on the Meyers bandwagon...if you'd asked me two weeks ago I'd want to trade him..I think he's going to break his slump and actually play center..Dame believes in him so, who am I to disagree with that

I hope Domantas gets a chance to clown David Robinson's son, Justin (a 6-8 Dukie), like Arvydas clowned "the Lieutenant (j.g.)."

Loved Sabas. Look who showed up in one of those Sabas highlights -

Wish we could have had some highlights with those two wearing the same jersey.

One of the only 2 guys Shaq said he couldn't move in the post...Sabo and Derrick Coleman...Sabonis was loyal and throughout his career, one of the greatest big men I ever saw play the game. That Rod Strickland, Sabonis pairing was a thing of beauty to watch and he had the best no look pass of any big man to play the game. So glad to see him in the HOF now!

What they let Shaq do in that 4th quarter was the pinnacle of Stern-era referee assfucking. They robbed Sabonis of a championship, which would have capped his career.

Now it makes perfect sense why Lil' Sabas followed Ammo to Gonzaga.
