    Re: GMO's Power rankings

This is going to cause some controvesy but This is MY oppinion!1. Dallas Mavericks. two streaks of 12 games this year, beating the good teams and the bad. What more is there to say- are they too well rounded for Dirk to get MVP?2. Phoenix Suns. Lordry thease fellars can score. But the most impressive is that they close out close games! Can thier turnstyle defense win in the playoffs though?3. SanAntonio Spurs. Doing thier thing quietly and as consistantly. Will be challenging for the #1 seed as usual. And are have a very good shot at the finals. But is TD ageing or saving it for the playoffs?4. Detroit Pistons. Yes thats right, they get this spot because they have done it all before5.Utah Jazz. This time last year...who have thunk it? Well Boozer is going great and not injuried which is a nice change. AK47 is WELL below standard this year, I think he has accepted a role. They are winning so it seems they know what he is doing. Can the inexperienced Jazz win when it matters? This is where it get tougher...6. Clevland, Lebron is lebron, seems he is getting a bit more help this year they win thats the main thing. 2-0 v the spurs this year too-impressive. Is this lebrons year? or are the Pistons and the West just too strong?7. La Lakers. OMG injuries haters number changes and yet the Lakers are winning alot this year. Phil Jackson is truly the Zen master. Kobe is scoring less but trusting team mates more and Luke Walton has become quite handy. Can Phil ZEN his way past the super powers?8. Houston Rockets WOW no tmac and then noe Yao, they just cant get a full strenght team on the floor so how on earth are they still winning? Beats me but I like it! If Yao and Tmac are healty come playoffs can they take the west conf?9.Washington Wizards. Gilbet Arenas is the only thing you need to say here. Unfreakenbelievable. He is getting good help from butler and Jameson but he really has lifted them froma good team to a very good team and able to close out the close ones! How will his supporting cast in particular Jameson go against the elite PF of the game in the high pressure of the playoffs?10. Chicago - I was a little surpriosed by thier record, I expected them to be much better at the start fo the year, but they are going nicely. Ben Wallace is inconsistant as hell, bant work him out but they could prove spoilers in the postseason, but nothing more IMO. Were the offseason moves enough to get over the great teams in the east?11. Orlando. Better than last season, lacking a go to scorer IMO but they could cause some issues for a playoff oponents.12. Indianna, Pains me to say this but JOneal is playing great and they are consistant...but seriously this .500 ball is boring. If Oneal stays healthy do they make it out of the first round?13. Denver. The AI trade happened just in time. They were't without a main scorer for long and still have a solid record. WE all know the real question on everyone's lips is can AI and Carmello play together? I say AI will make it work! My question is even with 2 great scorers working together is it enough for this team?14. Milwaulkee. A 5 game winning streak has them at .500. Charlie V is back but not playing as well as we'd all like. Bogut is too soft good thing they have Michael Redd, also Patterson is a nice payer for these guys. He does what ever is needed, assists points- rebounds a good all round guy. Is Bogut too soft for them to go far?Yes there is more teams that should be on here but IMO thats the order. after #5 it is very difficult to say. I could have done everyone but really who wants to know about anyone else. lol nah I just got lazy lol.

Rockets are still winning because of the fact that TMac is a fcken beast right now and everyone is stepping up. [IMG]

Denver shouldn't be as high yet, it's just too early and we haven't seen the roster at full strength yet.

Indy doesn't deserve to be 11th, maybe 16th or 17th. Dumb Tinsley and Jackson ruin every game. :ranting:

One game they play like real contenders and the next they look like a lottery team, :S

I think if they were in any other state the Pacers franchise would have no fans. Soooo inconsistent, mostly because of the guard play.

I agree with alot of this, only thing that bothers me is why is Cleveland so high? They've played heartless basketball for the past month, sure LBJ is LBJ but the rest of the team still needs to step up.

    Re: GMO's Power rankings

LBJ is tired this season. I think his fatigue has something to do with him playing for team USA over the summer. He isn't quite the same LeBron James as last year from what I've seen of him. You can see a little drop in his stats.

He says the most dumbest things u would ever hear. If we had a better coach, I am 100% sure the Cavaliers would have top 4-5 in the NBA in record.

I disagree with Pistons at 4. 7 or 8 is much more fitting. We just lost 3 in a row before beating a injured Hornets team.
