    That's a follow-up thread once he's hired again.

I read that today, Earl Watson is getting an interview for the interim coaching position..he'll be a good coach..Wes Mathews said Earl has a brilliant basketball IQ and is a good players coach. I don't blame Hornacek too much for the Suns failure...I blame the GM for gutting the team to pair Lamarcus with Tyson Chandler...Lamarcus left them with nothing..they gambled and lost. He'll get another job..he was a shooting coach for the Jazz before he got a coaching position.

But seriously, i just thought Jeff outcoached Terry in most of their meetings.
However, i don't think the difference between them is that big so i respect your opinion as well.

I think the GM set him up to fail.

This just proves how important team chemistry truly is and how hard it is to win without it.

damn, i was really hoping Jeff would kick ass there, he's one of my favorite players growing up - but it looked like a pretty messed up situation, hopefully he gets another chance soon!

Well, it's safe to say that LaMarcus not going there really screwed that team up. Any team that lost out on the services of LaMarcus this last summer, was obviously headed towards a horrific season.

    Oh wait...

Maybe they'll ride the Cavs idea and hire a retired player who wasn't ever that good to begin with, had a lackluster career and no championships....of course I'm talking about Barkley...

Nah they will probably go after Nash

Tyson Chandler can still play. If we want a rim protector, we could do worse than dealing for him. Considering the length of his contract, I doubt he would have much of a price tag

I've been thinking the same thing all morning after Horny got fired..Lamarcus also left Tyson out to dry after buttering him up about playing together

Just listening to a radio show where they said Utah has retired Horny's jersey. Is that some serious shit?

Dude didn't average more than 16 points a game per season. Why the hell didn't I, Ripcityboy, become beholden to the people of Salt Lake City?! Oh that's right I'm a fugly half-german spazoid.

He was part of the Jazz' big 3 and played against one of the greatest of alltime twice in the finals...Jerry Sloan is back in the front office...Horny will land on his feet there.

Didn't take too long for Earl Watson to get his first HC job.......even if it is as the interim coach

Dragic is CTC and Stotts is a much better coach than hornacek.

    Good for Earl Watson!

@HCP bet me $100 that Earl Watson wouldn't be a head coach this season. I win! Pay me!

We should make a list of ex-Blazers who are now (or have recently been) coaches.
Steve Kerr, Johnny Davis, Terry Porter, Lionel Hollins... (Rasheed was an assistant coach, too.)

Who's next? Andre Miller probably could if he wanted, but he'd rather not have to talk to people, probably.
