Lately he's picked it up a little. His defense has improved a bit. He's becoming more consistent with his scoring (13 of his last 15 games he's been in double digits), and he's actually been clutch. He hit a HUGE shot against Charlotte that should have won it, and tonight he made two great plays to take it to overtime. First he got that big offensive rebound off the missed shot (I can't remember who shot it) and made a great pass to Cook who got fouled. Then of course he made the game tying runner with .1 left. Props Smush!!! :dribble: :dribble:

I agree. Smush has really picked it up lately and I am glad. I will admit that I had my doubts for Smush but people need to stop saying that he is the worst starting point guard in the league. His scoring has risen, he is played smarter defense and not gambling as much. He is making some clutch plays and is just playing overall better. I just hope that come playoff time, he will have the same intensity and will play at the same level or better...not like last season. Go Smush.

He really took the slack last night! Kobe had such an off game but... damn Smush, he's maybe not as bad as people think? Smush is getting back to one of my favorite Lakers now. :rock:Keep doing what you're doing.

He had 8 assists 8 minutes into the game. Kobe played great, when at least 5 Lakers score over 15 points and Kobe is not one of them and he has 10 assists you know the Lakers are playing great and as a team. They had a season high 39 assists.
