At least one of the two for sure, plus a 2nd or solid prospect. Boeddker can give you 20-25 per year and would thrive here i think.
There is probably little chance McIlrath and Miller will get dealt. Hayes clearly isn't fitting in on this team his second year. Moron Brooks says the Jets have been scouting the Rangers for weeks. If they deal Hayes for Ladd, I would want at least a second back for that rental. I personally am really hating Hayes now. We already have one lazy, inconsistent moron in Kreider. We don't need another. McDonagh, Graves, Skjei on the left, Shattenkirk and McIlrath on the right. That is a bright future again on defense. It's getting rid of Staal that eventually will be the issue. Girardi is probably going to be a bottom 6th, right handed guy who plays 14 minutes a game soon. Staal has played much better lately. So, he can be moved if he isn't a moron and refuses.
If the Rangers consider trading Miller, they will be committing Hari-Kari.......the kid plays with tenacity and produces......two player aspects sorely missing with this team. And if Ranger management deem to be that stupid............I will not root for this hockey club.
I'm with you and I'll add if Dylan is traded also I'll feel the same way. Starting to think boyle is not blocking dylan but girardi is as if we add shattenkirk to the d next year and still have girardi and klein, dylan still in the press box. Girardi or klein need to be traded either by deadline or by the draft this summer or we are going to lose what we desperately need. A big tough defenseman who can skate, pass, shoot, protect his teammates and costs a dollar on a team in cap hell. Lets go gorton make it happen.
Anybody who thinks Yandle won't get traded because of McDonagh is a moron. This guy was brought here to help the PP and our PP freakin blows. He should be traded and the PP coach should be fired as well. Skjei is NHL ready. Graves might be as well. The team doesn't have enough up front because Hayes and Kreider have a combined IQ of 100 and can't figure out what to do with their talent.
