I'd be very disappointed if we went HaCapella. I like backing instruments.

But... did they win? Actually, 1 of the big reasons why they lost & any team that takes him will cont. to lose is because of D-Bag12; he may be dominant/strong (get gaudy stats but not as much/often any more; he's starting to decline not only in stats but most importantly in health, which is why the decline in stats & he's 30) BUT he's ALSO weak: he has limited moves (where's all the additional footwork/payoff from working w/ The Dream? Only a few improvements from those sessions), he slows down his team's offense/pace + his free throws? It's simple to beat a D-Bag12 team when HE is the 1 doing most of the scoring/getting the possessions for his team: get more possessions vs them, speed up the pace, put him on the free throw line as much as possible, try to get the ball out of his players hands & when they have it make them take as long as possible before they CAN get it to D-Bag12, try to get a bunch of 3's (only recommended IF ur team can shoot it which we can!:smiley-laughing:) while denying theirs, & then out rebound them (this last 1 isn't necessary for the win but it makes it easier if u can). I admit, I've always been a D-Bag12 hater but it's not because of jealousy or whatever; it's mostly been because of his stupid shit-attitude; I'm not a Kobe lover but... Kobe's been successful & he/Fakers needed D-Bag12 to have the right mentality to win & that never happened bc it can't happen w/ D-Bag12 bc of the way he is & will always b. I could go on & on about this but I don't want to, D-Bag12's a waste. THE only way I would take him is to facilitate a trade, I'd never want him to wear our colors even for a second.

I wouldn't trade for him because he, apparently, wants $29 mil/season. If we signed him as a FA, he couldn't get that much (I think).

If all we had to give up for him were our older expiring guys and a young guy like Meyers I'd do it, but surely they'd be able to get more than that for him from some other team.

I have heard this mentioned on the web more than a few times. More than his ego or his injury history or his inability to become a consistent free-throw shooter, that worries me the most.

Honest question: Are those rumors about him true? Is he a creeper?

I agree with all of you. If he had a list of cities before and we were not it, I doubt we would be added now.
Portland is an acquired taste. Being exposed to our beautiful city for only 2 months (in early spring) does more harm then good. At a quick glance only the weather and weirdness will standout. To appreciate the city you need more time.

He played in shitholes known as orlando and Houston. Portland is much nicer. Most importantly though the fan support is second to none. That will appeal to a guy like Howard more than anything.

Portland does not fit D-Bag12 & we won't make it fit him; didn't we try this w/ some1 already...?

Don't care if it does, HE doesn't "appeal" to me or others; IF we got him... many/if not all would b complaining about him/how do we get rid of him & fast.

Even IF he were free... he's not worth what you'll get. To the ppl that want him, u want to actually win & b respected don't u? U take him in & you'll have neither.

ps Orlando actually has decent fan support; not that many show up but the ones that do r loyal:wink:

Hahahaha what is this a Boy Scout troop?

Howard's baggage is overrated. I've seen much worse. He's friends with Lillard. Shouldn't be overlooked

Also players love playing for Stotts and Olshey has made their comfort priority number one. If anyone can take on Dwight it's the blazers. They dealt with that idiot Aldridge.

Almost, we've got all great guys!:ygrin:

Maybe so w/ baggage (depends on what's included relative to this:wink:). He's friends w/ Lillard; he's also cool w/ Boogie, should that b overlooked? In our case... YES, it should b overlooked & doesn't matter he & Dame r pals. It's mostly his attitude & his team crippling that makes me not want him, that's all.

I thought us fans wanted team basketball & movement; u get D-Bag12 & the ball will stall & possessions will go away along w/ wins; D-Bag12 demands the ball most of the time & has made it known when he doesn't get it; he's a pouty bitch to put it nicely.

Hpward doesn't get along with other Prima Donas. He was his best in Orlando when he wasn't dealing with Kobe or James Harden.I don't think he would have that issue here as none of our guys have those types of egos.

I can't speak to the veracity of the claims, but I do recall that our beloved Jerome Kersey (along with Mark Bryant and...Cliffy?) were caught doing this on a road trip to UTH.

Why wouldn't it matter if him and Lillard are friends? That's the alpha dog of our team.

Howard might've done some stupid, immature things in the past but people grow, and since he's been in Houston I haven't really heard about any of those issues. He plays hard, despite having to share the court with that selfish ballhog Harden. If he has a problem with him personally, I don't blame him.

Suppose he doesn't & gets along famously w/ every1, would the not winning & failing/liability in late game situations make u/any1 else sad/pissed?

Then why does Hou. want to get rid of him IF he's so awesome & such a winner?

I am not a fan of Orlando. Been there many times for work. But I do know that rich athletes love their lake front homes.
Houston has a pretty good nightlife for young rich athletes. I don't think you will get many single athletes who agree with the shithole term. But at my age..... I agree with you.
