That's the thing - I think guys like Howard and Cousins would do just fine here, because we have a well-respected leader in Dame that they can fall in line behind. Despite their "checkered past", I think they're generally good guys who want to win. Based on the fact that Whiteside also has well-respected leaders in Wade and Bosh, I don't feel like a change of scenery would help him. I'm not sure about that Morris twin...

After Howard's experiences playing for the Lakers and the Rockets, I would think he'd be very appreciative of the team and atmosphere in Portland.
