12-Year-Old Special Education Student Charged With Disorderly Conduct for Wetting Pants

She then wet her pants.Her mother said the girl is terrified by Duckwork and has wet herself during previous confrontations with him. She said her daughter has had disciplinary problems at the school but has never become violent.Police Chief Eric Gill said school officials were at "with's end" with the girl, and that they believe her actions were deliberate.School Superintendent Steve Keifer would not discuss the confrontation, but said that as a general rule the police are called only after "all other alternatives are exhausted."Police told the girl's parents they could probably avoid a fine if they agree to have the girl do community service.</div>Somebody sent me this in an email and I had to post it. Danville is pretty close to where I live, It's 45 minutes away. This incident is pretty ridiculous in my opinion, people are power hungry.

 

This is terrible, why would they fine the girl for wetting her pants but at the same time, this girl has some problems. If you're gonna act like some tough sh*t then don't piss in your pants, especially when your 12 years old.

It is a complete paradox that she could keep herself from going to the bathroom.

 

I can't really elaborate on this as it doesn't specify her condition. But you could both ways on this. Recently this girl that my mom knew around when my brother was 4-5 in our neighborhood was mentally challenged. Well supposedly she was depressed and lied in the middle of the road at night. Two cars ended up hitting her and she died. Pretty shocking when I heard about this. But really when mentally challenged people get mad or sad, you have to keep a close eye on them. I know because my brother has down syndrome. They do things when their upset, that they don't understand the repercussions to.This could be how the girl reacts to when she's confronted. Not deliberate at all. But it really depends on her condition.

 

Come on. She has problems and you are going to fine for that? I bet if a normal 12 year old pisses their pants by being yelled at the principial wouldn't get fined. She refused well she has some problems so can't fine for that.

I had no idea that ElMaster was Special Ed.....In all serious though, this is stupid. Obviously this person has needs and may have some disabilties.

I'm sorry, but I really can't understand why you think the school is just full of assholes. I highly doubt the school did this for no reason. The mother herself said that the girl has had disciplinary problems in the past. I wouldn't put it past a disorderly student to do this on purpose, special ed or not.And S2S's logic is highly flawed.Edit: Oh, and if they are being so unfair, that doesn't explain why they singled out this student. That's extremely dumb... Way over the edge.

 

Special education has a wide spectrum of disabilities. We don't know this girl's condition but, if you are in special education and not general education, then it's obvious you have special needs. The problem is teachers are so underpaid that they choose to work with special needs kids just for the pay increase however, most of them don't have the patience to deal with those kids. I blame the system. That poor little girl needs help....

When I was in Geometry in high school, this kid asked to go to the restroom. The teacher (I can't remember if it was the permanent teacher or a sub) told him he could not go. A few minutes later, he had a wet spot.
