<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>AP -Less than three weeks after Allen Iverson was traded, Larry Brown rejoined the 76ers, this time as an executive vice president instead of a coach. The Sixers said early Saturday that Brown will assist team president Billy King and the basketball operations department, and work on other special projects.</div>Source: Yahoo! SportsAs much as I missed having Larry Brown coach this team, especially defensively, I really don't like this move at all. I've been wanting to get rid of Billy King for a few years now, but instead of doing that we go ahead and bring in Larry Brown? What is Snider thinking? No matter what Brown's title is (in this case, Vice President of Basketball Operations - meaning he is Billy King's "assistant"), we all know that Brown will be calling the shots from now on. Billy King is just the figurehead, whereas Brown will be the one ruining this team's future. We all know Brown has a short leash with his young players, and considering we are rebuilding, play lousy defense, etc., I have a feeling he'll make a few hasty moves and further jeopardize our future. I've always said he'd be the perfect coach to coach Andre Iguodala, and I don't think Iggy will be traded or anything, but this move scares me.

I kind of suspected this after he was brought in as a team consultant for the Iverson trade. Something smelled a little fishy there.

As for the move itself, I agree with BigMo - not a good situation. Like BigMo said, Larry Brown is very impatient with young players. He can only do well in situations with veteran players. He can't handle development of young players that need time. I don't like this move either.

I don't want him to make hasty moves because of his desires for a good team. I don't want him to ruin our chance at rebuilding for the futures either. This makes me really nervous.

I don't want him calling the shots either. But all we have really for the future is Iggy, and I don't think he will trade him. So as long as Iggy stays I am fine. And like I said Larry I do not think would trade a good D guy like Iggy.I like him as a coach though would not mind him taking over as coach NEXT season. And I like Mo don't think it's his fault at all we suck I just like Larry as a coach.
