I thought this thread was for who would actually be playing in the 2007 NBA Allstar game not for who you wish was playing. Ummm, Hello? The allstar game is based on popularity not talent. Please tell me you knew that? Ahem! (Yao Ming) He has been leading in votes for four years, is he the best player on the planet? No, he just has 8 billion china men voting for him. No way he should have started in 2004 as the west center over Shaquille and I'm not even a Shaquille O'neal fan. But, he was definately more talented than Yao back then. This year Yao may finally deserve to start. Also, I really like Gilbert Arenas. Dude is very talented. The true Mr. Big shot! He's been playing great, he is clutch, not to mention cute as hell. (girl in me) But, let's face it. Gil is a little weird and the public does not like weird. So, will he get as many votes as Vince Carter or Dwyane Wade? Hmmm, not this year.

I agree with most of it but I think Amare should be in over Camby. I know they are both having good comeback years but the fact is all around I think Amare is doing better. I would not call 2 more rebounds then Amare "much more".

You guys really really underrate Chris Bosh. This guy is playing better than Jermaine Oneal and is on pace to lead the Raptors to a possible Playoff spot. He is also a better rebounder, leader, and scorer. Sure, Jermaine's team is playing better, but that is about to change soon. Jermaine hasnt been his dominate self since a couple years back and his playoff experiences. In the future however, I see Bosh to be twice as better as this guy.

I'd give Bosh the edge over JO right now. And no way should VC start in the All Star Game. Not over Pierce, DWade, Arenas, or Redd.

JO used to be one of my favorite players in the league, then he started getting injured, knocked out a couple Pistons fans and really in my mind dropped off from this premier PF in my opinion...Bosh should def start over JO.
