http://www.torontosun.com/Sports/Basketbal...155668-sun.htmlIf Raptors general manager Bryan Colangelo is interested in hiring Phoenix Suns assistant Marc Iavaroni as his next full-time coach, he has some competition. A rumour is circulating Iavaroni could be the next head coach of the Memphis Grizzlies.I would hate Iavaroni to go. I already knew he was a good assistant coach but while reading :07 Seconds or Less I have realized just how important the guy is to the team. He's in charge of all the big men on the team, has been working with Amare, is the guy that prepares the defense, he watches more game film than any other coach and is a big x's and o's guy. I think losing him would hurt. The Raptors or Grizzlies would be lucky to have the guy. He was behind Pat Riley for so many years and has become a really good coach.

I know there have been a ton of rumours saying that Bryan Colangelo wants him to head-coach the Raptors long term..I don't know much about him, but pretty much anyone would be better than Sam Mitchell.

Stan Van Gundy and Iavaroni were his top assistants.

Yeah, I'd hate to see him go. I love all the trainers and Ass. Coaches.
