Are you guys crazy Dieng is a starting caliber center on a team friendly contract. You're not going to acquire that with an offer of a couple expirings and meyers Leonard.

Rubio will have options to be a starter on almost any team...why would he want to be Dame's sidekick? I don't think it's a viable option but I like Dieng's game a lot...I'd really rather trade Meyers and Kaman for Aaron Gordon or Sasha Vucevic if I'm dreamin..

Henderson to me is a vital part of our success...if we acquired Dieng I'd be thrilled..but I'd trade a big man for him instead of a combo guard

It's ok because Minny would never trade Dieng for Gerald Henderson.

exactly...but they might if you offered a quality young big...like Mason plus Kaman and or Leonard..they don't need Henderson but we do and I'm lobbying to keep him around for 2 or 3 seasons.

I'd take him if it's just for absorbing his salary, I think that's what the Wolves would want the most and it ain't an easy decision for us either becaue that'd be a big part of our cap-room.
I like Frazier a lot and think if he got a decent chance playing the role Rubio could play (playing alongside Dame and CJ, not just the 3rd stringers) he could play it very well and he is of course much cheaper and would accept a smaller role then we would have to give Rubio. But still, I want us to have that option of having another guard who's creative and can play alongside Dame or CJ at the 2, if Frazier isn't able to do it, I'd welcome Rubio

Frazier creates.... Turnovers and missed shots. He's a scrub who has no value. It's not like he can shoot the lights out either. I'm surprised he made the roster over Pressey or Darius Morris.

Rubio's been playing pro ball since he was a teenager.

If Frazier wasn't so close with Lillard I have no doubts he'd be back in the d league.

I'd be surprised if there is more than one guy who thinks that.

    Licky Lubio legitimately lacks luster.

The problem I have with considering any deal with the Timberwolves is that in Towns, Wiggins and Lavine, they already have a core of potential superstars that surpasses anything on our roster, and being as they're in our division, we're going to have to deal with that triumvirate (plus whomever they might be able to add in this year's draft) for the next decade. So if we take on Rubio, and somehow that moves us a step forward, but moving his deal and freeing up his minutes moves the Wolves multiple steps forward, we're still net losers overall.

Of course, if we don't make the deal, and they make the deal with someone else, then maybe the Wolves still improve without us benefiting. Being an NBA GM sounds pretty hard; I'm glad I'm not one.

Lol. Towns is the only one. It's funny how far ahead of the wolves the blazers are in their rebuilding process, yet they just started it last summer. People will always love potential though. Wiggins isn't anything special. His ceiling to me is a role player on a contender. He's another Batum. He doesn't have that killer instinct. Thought that since I saw him at the hoop summit. Won't even get into Lavine. Unless you mean slam dunk superstar..then sure...he's a superstar.
