I would trade him right now for Boogie or Paul George.

Well duh, but he's not on either guys level so it would take more to acquire them.

You would trade him for Boogie but not Blake Griffin? Boogie only has one more year left on his contract than Griffin does.

The more I think about it, the more I can not see Portland moving McCollum.

Not only is CJ a "Neil-guy" (Olshey drafted him in 2013 and praises him constantly), but CJ and Dame are as close as can be ... even their mothers hang out and are friends.

I know Dame is under contract for five additional years and this is a business, but you don't want to piss off your star player. We're showing really good progress with those two as our leaders and I'm not sure it would send the best message to move him. Now, if you get Curry or Durant or Davis for CJ, that's a different story, but I don't think anyone here believes those players are even remotely on the table. We're probably talking Noel, Cauley-Stein caliber of players, which, in my opinion, is not enough of a needle mover to move McCollum at this point in time.

I only see 3 sources of banter about the Blazers potentially trading CJ...

    #1 Fans on this forum
#2 Fans of other teams wanting to offer table scraps
#3 Some bald "sports" writer in the Portland market

So is Henderson enough for McLemore?

If you're Portland, what's the incentive to offer more for McLemore?

Henderson is better than McLemore. He had potential and was drafted high, but hasn't really done much with it. I imagine someday he might become as good as Hendo. I really haven't been impressed with Ben though. Plus, at this point I am not sure I trust a lottery drafted player from the kings.

Unless there's some unknown needle moving deal...I'd think we would trade Kaman at the deadline for picks or rights to some dude in Europe and have an open roster spot to use for 10 day guys or D league call ups

Well I'd love to fleece Collision out of them as well. We'd have to give up another asset like Kaman and I'm not sure they want him even a little bit because they're loaded with centers.

Because I could see Boogie re-signing here. I think Griffin 100% leaves.

I could see Sacramento trading McLemore for Henderson, but I imagine they want to keep Collison. It appears they are trying to win now, which seems pretty shortsighted of them. I think they are after players who can play now and not picks or players that might in the future.

If we traded Kaman for assets and he's waived, could we then hire him as a big man coach?

How bout Henderson and Aminu for Collison, McLemore, and Willie-Cauley Stein?

    Lillard / Collison
    McCollum / McLemore
    Crabbe / Harkless
    Vonleh / Leonard
    Plumlee / WCS / Davis

Wed have 5 bigs, so we could then see what we could get for Leonard/Plumlee/Davis, or even include one in the deal along with a future pick to try and get Sacramentos pick this year (Davis+Hendo+Aminu+2019First for WCS+McLemore+Collison+ Bellinelli+2016First)

From reading the Kings boards on other sites, some value WCS more than Boogie. I think the asking price would start with CJ if we wanted Trill.

    http://www.si.com/nba/2016/02/15/trade-deadline-rumors-news-buzz-reports

Here's the stuff from Sports Illustrated.

    Feb. 15
    • Miami and Houston are discussing a deal that would send Dwight Howard to the Heat and Hassan Whiteside to the Rockets, reports Frank Isola of the New York Daily News.

    • The Magic are willing to discuss trading away former No. 2 pick Victor Oladipo and Tobias Harris, reports ESPN. Orlando has also looked into acquiring Hawks point guard Jeff Teague.

    • The Los Angeles Clippers offered an injured Blake Griffin and Lance Stephenson to the Denver Nuggets in exchange for Nikola Jokic, Will Barton, Danilo Gallinari and Kenneth Faried, reports ESPN's Chris Broussard.

SHARP: The Case For... Trading Blake Griffin

    • Rumors swirled on Friday night of a potential deal that was discussed between the Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics and Knicks that would include Carmelo Anthony but was quickly shot down. Anthony would have to waive his no-trade clause for a move but now plans to play all the remaining games on the Knicks' schedule, the Daily News reports.

    • The Knicks are seeking help at point guard but may not have the assets to make a run at Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Ricky Rubio, according to the Daily News.

    • The Denver Nuggets have made Kenneth Faried and J.J. Hickson available, the Daily News reports.

    • After fielding questions about potential trades being discussed, DeMarcus Cousins says that he would like to stay put with the Kings, if it was up to him. “First of all, I can’t control the trade (rumors) and I can’t control if I’m traded or not,” Cousins told NBC Sports. “But I do want to be in Sacramento, and I know everybody in Sacramento knows that.”

    • Despite the team's lack of a general manager, the Brooklyn Nets could still find a way to move Brook Lopez or Thaddeus Young, according to the Daily News.

    • The Heat are interested in New Orleans Pelicans power forward Ryan Anderson as the team is uncertain on Hassan Whiteside's future, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.

    • The Cavaliers are unlikely to re-sign 7'1" center Timofey Mozgov, reports Terry Pluto of the Cleveland Plain Dealer. ESPN’s Marc Stein reports the Cavs have pursued Kings bigman Kosta Koufos this week.

    • The Boston Celtics are trying to trade David Lee but one source tells Mark Murphy of the Boston Herald that the forward has “no trade value.”
