Now that the Wolves have drafted Kris Dunn, it's time to revisit this rumor! Rubio CAN actually hit stand-still three pointers now so he's not totally useless off the ball. And he would instantly be our best guard defender.
In fact, the only challenge is thinking of who they might want for him. A S&T Crabbe?

The rumor is that they'll give you Rubio if you take on Pek. If Sac did this, it would be HILARIOUS!!

(considering all of the centers they have).

I don't get why people keep saying the Kings have too many big guys. Labissiere and the Greek guy are not NBA ready, and it's not like Koufos and Acy are all stars or even above average. They don't all need 30 minutes a game. It wouldn't be the end of the world if a couple of them didn't play much at all.

    He could be our Livingson.

Having a PG who can run a team in the second unit was what kept the Warriors afloat in a lot of games.

Would be a really interesting 3 guard rotation. One thing I wonder though, is if we need a stout guard to defend the post. Henderson was a tough post defender and I think we might miss that. But Rubio would be a fun rotational player.

Honestly, I'd way rather have Patrick Beverly.

Rubio would be great. But can Stotts draw up some action that would use a real PG? I would like to see him try.
But then on second thought, some action using the passing skills of a high post center would be even better.
Hey, perhaps he could have all those things! Switch when they catch up.

For me it's what Stotts wants the second unit to be all about. If the first unit is offense, then adding Rubio makes no sense because you have to be able to change pace and intensity on the other end of the floor. If he thinks the first unit will be the defensive unit, he'd be wrong, but then adding Rubio makes a lof of sense because they will push the ball and get into transition

I don't even like to talk about units. I would rather think in terms of offensive series rotating between players to lead and provide aggressive energy. Rubio fits fine in that idea and he can provide intensity on defense also.

We have such good luck with Spanish players..I don't see Rubio here although he's fun to watch. We probably don't have what Minny wants for him anyway
