Interesting stats a few rows down.

    http://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/POR/2016/splits/

The Blazers are 2-10 on the second of back to backs
    15-16 with one days rest
9-1 with two or more days rest

On second of back to backs we score 97.4 and give up 103.7
One day rest we score 102.2 and give up 103.0
Two or more days rest we score 108.0 and give up 97.3

Not sure the schedule the rest of the way but there seems to be a high correlation. I wonder what the rest of the league splits are.

Lillard's foot probably feels good or bad depending on rest (or lack of).

Golden State is 24-4 on the road; .857 winning percentage.

I guess that makes us the favorites.

According to BPI we have a 22% chance of winning.

I feel like our odds are much better than that.

Yeah I'd say 50/50. I mean ya either win or lose right?

I would guess that is similar for most teams in the NBA. Teams in a b2b are at a disadvantage. Get more rest & you play better. Not too hard to figure out.

Normally I would think the first game back from the all star break against a team who sent their 3 biggest stars to Toronto, back to California and then up to Portland...would have given us an advantage. But I think the extra couple of days off for the players negates the advantage. Of course that is a total guess on my part.

Total wash. The Blazers had their 2 biggest stars (Dame and CJ ) go to Toronto and back, too. The Warriors also haven't played in over a week.

Just now on Rip City Mornings:
--Andy Bunker: "You know Coach, you guys are 9-1 with 2+ days rest so far this season."
--Terry Stotts: "OK...so? What's Golden State?"
--Andy Bunker: "Probably undefeated--but who cares?!"
