    There was a meeting and a report that he asked for a trade before we traded for Lopez but LMA and NO never confirmed an official trade request they confirmed a meeting where LMA talked about how frustrated he was in portland.

    Offensively, he would be a pretty massive upgrade over Aminu.

    Gay is averaging 18 ppg, 6.7 rebounds, 1.2 steals, and he's shooting 47% from the field / 34% from three.

    Aminu is averaging 10 ppg, 6.4 rebounds, 1 steal, and he's shooting 41% from the field/ 35% from three.

    Defensively Aminu is clearly superior, but I'd say right now this team could really use a reliable third scorer.

    On thing that would do, is effectively take Portland out of the FA market. Which probably isn't a bad thing.

    I would give them Meyers/Kaman/Hendo for just Gay. They do NOT want to move Collison. People keep trying to get him and that isn't happening.

    I not a fan of McLemore (especially if Gay is here). He is not even close to as good as Crabbe. Minutes aren't there for all the swingmen.
