Re: Today's the Day! Today is the day guys where Ben Wallace and the Detroit Pistons reunite! It's Part 1 of Two games, this is just our warm up game for when Ben comes to the Palace in probably the most emotional game I will have ever watched. It's going to be fun watching these two teams battle it out - I just hope NO ONE gets injured, everyone brings their A game, and all of it stays on the floor. I hope Ben and the Pistons Starters have a big moment on TV where they're just hugging and saying "wutup" to the old face of the Detroit Pistons. But wow - this is f*cking emotional!<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>http://www.detnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/artic.../701060355/1127Ben braces for his brothersWallace is looking forward to facing his former teammates when the Bulls play host to the Pistons.Chris McCosky / The Detroit NewsCHICAGO -- It's Tuesday, about 90 minutes before tip-off. Ben Wallace is sitting by himself in front of his corner locker wistfully watching the replay of the Pistons-Suns game from Sunday. Then, into the room walks a reporter from Detroit and, for an instant, Wallace looks disoriented."I am sitting here watching my old team and talking to you," Wallace said, shaking his head. "It's crazy. I mean, it's so funny. It's like I am watching my team but it's not really my team anymore."Flash ahead to today and try to get a read on all that might be roiling in Wallace's heart, stomach and soul as he takes the court for the first time against his former teammates -- guys he sweat and fought with, won and lost with, for six seasons -- wearing the white and red of the rival Bulls."Man," he said.Wallace can't immediately wrap his mind around it, though he reconciled with its eventuality the day he signed the four-year, $60 million contract with the Bulls in July. His thoughts race, his words tumble out more slowly, but it doesn't take long before he feels the gravity of it all."It's tough not to think about it," he said. "For me it's going to be exciting to have the opportunity to play against those guys, to be on the same floor with those guys again. It's going to be exciting."He is asked what, for him, would be the perfect outcome?"Just a good game and everybody stays healthy and able to bring to the table what they always</div>That's an article that I got from the Det News --- If someone cries in sadness I won't call them a woman - this is f*cking sad - but I can't wait to see it.TO NIGHT AT 8:30 on TV 20 PART IEDIT: I STILL want to see Jason "MAX" Maxiel dunk on Ben! lol

Re: Today's the Day! :brickwall: :ranting: This sucks. I hate living in New Jersey. I never see us play. I guess I'll just have to track it online like I always do. But this will be a great game, and very emotional as Reppin said. But the big one is February 25th when Ben returns to the Pallace.
Re: Today's the Day! Rasheed and Nazr are killin it out there.Rasheed with three blocks, including one really nice from the back block, and Nazr with 10 pts in the 1st quarter!I'm liking what I see right now.
Re: Today's the Day! I have it on 3 channels.... WGN,NBAtv, and HDdemand(basically nbatv in hd) I have no idea why timewarner gives us a channel from Chicago...
Re: Today's the Day! This sucks - we're dying out there. We probably would've lost with Chauncey. I think we're like 25% shooting or something crappy like that.
Re: Today's the Day! Okay, no one posted anything about this game in the Bulls forum so maybe I should have done it myself. But, you guys don't mind me posting about the Bulls success and the great game Ben Wallace is having in here do you? I'm from Chicago so you know I'm not a Pistons fan from way back..And yes Detroit does suck a@@!!! The United Center is packed and they are making it known.Detroit Sucks! :thumbdn1: BTW! Chicago is putting the FOPS on the Piss head Pistons...Go Bulls!!!!!
Re: Today's the Day! I am not to high on the Bulls or Pistons. (Same Division as the Cavaliers...lol)I'm glad the Pistons lose, because now the Cavaliers gain some ground on them and take 1st place!

Re: Today's the Day! Thats really really wierd, I have Sattelite and I have some chicago channel that shows bulls games.
Re: Today's the Day! That was a rather ugly 2nd half for the Pistons. I went out but taped the game and I just finished right now and the Bulls couldn't miss(including Big Ben) and the Pistons couldn't even trade basket for basket. The pistons really missed Billups tonight but what are you going to do, you don't want to rush this kind of injury. No surprise Flip Murray continues to struggle and be so inconsistent, I know Joe D feels the same way(he was at the game) so he knows he has to explore possibilities to acquire someone like Bonzi Wells, Corey Maggette or a dependable scoring point guard because when playoff time comes I know we are not going to rely on Hunter/Blalock to provide the offense when they relieve Chauncey? HoLLa baCk
