I LOVE MIKE CONLEY JR.! This kid is impressive, especially for a freshman. He plays under great control, he can run the offense, he's a good playmaker, he can penetrate, he changes direction at almost the same damn speed, and his defensive anticipation is excellent. I am a big fan of Conley, and all 4 times I have seen him play this year, I have been very impressed. He needs to work on his jumper, but I think if he develops a decent shot, he's going to be a pretty good player. How do you guys think he will fair in the NBA, once he gets there? (also note that I do not think he should come out this year. He should stay for 2-3 years.)

I think he has a good chance to start off well in the NBA (in a rookie sense) and get a good pick if he stays longer and develops. He has great floor vision and he is an excellent passer. Like you said about his jumper, it isn't anything special. He can hit a three once in a while, but he also air-balls a lot. A great thing about him- he knows that, he doesn't take the shot unless he is hot or completely open. He doesn't force shots, he slashes to the hoop a lot, but you never know if he will pass or shoot it. His reach-step is great and he can stay with just about any ball handler. He can pick up the PG at 3 quarters court and play up on him. If the PG takes off down the court, some how Conley is right on him and slows him down when he reaches half court, and then is in front of him again. He is one of the best players in college at full court man-to-man and he reads players very well. This guy is packed with talent and he isn't selfish. He is going to be something special, but he needs to stay at OSU for everyone to relize that before he goes to the draft.
Like CB said, the longer he stays the better off he will be, and the higher draft pick he will be. He isn't the best shooter, but I love his offensive game. A very good passer and playmaker, and like you guys said, hopefully he will stay at OSU for a while and carry it over into the pros.
I was wondering when someone would make a topic about him. I love him to, such a great passer, incredible vision. If he stays 2-3 years he can really work on his offensive game, and he'll be a stud at the next level..
He has great passing and can hit shots. He also does not turn the ball over a lot. He has good control. He will be a hell of a player in the NBA. I am just wondering where he will go. Any team who drafts him will be happy with every thing he can do and he will either be a "sidekick" or the superstar for his team. I just hope the Cavs draft him. He is something special. He has the skills to make it far in the NBA and should.

He has a lot of talent, but he's one of those energy guys that you have bring all the intangibles for your team, and have him run the offense well. He's not going to be a superstar in the NBA, but a good player.

it was awesome watching him and oden demolish our high school each time we played we played them ... (county champs this year though! woot! ) A superb passer with mad handles. Alwayz knows where the open guy is.
