I am modestly in favor of the trade, with the recognition that it almost certainly doesn't affect anything at all one way or the other. The downside to the trade is anything Kirk does on the basketball court that makes us regret not having him here. That seems pretty remote. The upside is the potential of the second round pick either yielding a good player (remote) or being used as a trade piece (less remote). I'm also intrigued by Justin Holidae, who looks like he has the tools to be a useful 3&D player, although I've never actually seen him play. The fact that he's signed on a minimum contract through next year is appealing since this team seriously needs to rebuild the bottom of its roster and those are not the guys you want to spend a lot of money on.
